I coach U15AAA in Canada and we always have 2 refs and 2 linesmen. Can someone explain to me how a U16 game in America only has 2 linesmen doing both jobs on the ice. This is a genuine question not meant to be rude.

im a 2010 playing only top 15 teams and ive never had more then 2 on the ice at once, must be an American thing
