Loved the idea with the router and little Buck. That was good thinking.

Mad skills there Zach. There's no reason to buy things that you can patch or fabricate. Looking forward to more on the Apache.

ZH you need to get yourself some spot weld cutters. Cheap like $5 at harbor freight and the cutting bit is double sided, so you can unscrew it and have another brand new side.

I have been through a similar project myself, which i will never do again. But I was wondering if maybe you had thought about on those areas that are prone to rust, to treat them with something like POR 15? If you put that on a surface it will never rust again. Since you are taking that all apart and getting into those hard to reach areas, it may be a of value.

Yeah, I'm hitting the inside of the panels with something similar... I'm sure once I move into a place with a shop I'll take everything down a bit and do a more professional job. It's just hard in a humid/rainy climate with no indoor shop.

Great fabrication, yes leave door on and check rocker fit,,,but cmon,,,rockers never fit , gotta split the bends and massage…u fortunate to have good floor …looks great…

I’m a new subscriber I really enjoy your work, do you think painting the backside of the new outer rocker and outside the inner panel would be beneficial? Or is it overkill? Thank you
