Thank you Meredith! I enjoyed this little ladybugs video! It took awhile but you are always so thorough about explaining and little tips! I am making a card for a friend with flowers, leaves and two ladybugs flying above the flower! Thank you! I think it turned out “ OK”. I’ll keep practicing! ☺️

These are gorgeous Meredith, so light and delicate just like the real thing. Quilling lends itself so well to these little projects and you demonstrate so very well how to make them. Thank you for sharing. 😘❤️

How long are your paper strips? If I convert 24 inches to centimeters, I get a length of 61 cm. I've never heard of such long ribbons. Maybe I miscalculated. I really like your ladybugs and would love to make them. Best regards, Jožica
@ThePaperyCraftery Жыл бұрын
A lot of my strips come from a company called Craft Harbor Paper sold on Quilling.com Their strips are cut to 24 inches which is about 61cm. If your strips are not long enough for certain projects, you can always glue strips end to end to make longer ones. No need to buy new paper 🙂 I hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply and for all the wonderful videos. It helps a lot for beginners. Until now, the longest straps I have had were 54 cm, but I really have not heard of longer ones. But I already use the gluing of the strips. Best regards and many more successes.@@ThePaperyCraftery

I was wondering how many mm wide are your strips? Mine are three mmmm that came in a kitten die wondering if they're going to be too narrow?😮

What paper do you buy to create your strips? Brand? I’m overwhelmed in my research of what to buy.
@ThePaperyCraftery2 жыл бұрын
I use a few different brands for different reasons (color preference, thickness, length of paper) but I always mention what brand and color I use in every project and I leave links in the description box of every video for all my supplies.

@@ThePaperyCraftery OH....I thought you were making your own from cutting paper into strips! I've been looking for what paper to buy! Thank you!
@ThePaperyCraftery2 жыл бұрын
🙂 Some quillers do cut their own, but that’s just not for me. They usually use a thicker paper, like a card stock, but some prefer thinner paper. There’s a lot of personal preference.

@@ThePaperyCraftery Thank you! I think I'll just buy mine like you do. So much easier LOL Thank you!

What glue do you use. My glue is stuck in the little bottle
@ThePaperyCraftery Жыл бұрын
For this project, I used Elmer’s Glue-All and also clear glue. If your bottle is clogging, try storing it upside. Also, while you are using it, you can put a damp paper towel or sponge under the nozzle in a cup. That will help a lot 🙂
