I wasn't allowed to swear, but I was allowed to write some pretty graphic violence. I was 100% right on the episodes. Mostly because I watched the two real ones so much when I was a kid, but never once even heard of the fake ones. I do think the monster episode also has a bit of Edward Scissorhands with the ending weirdly enough. Also gotta say though that the way you described Krab's fat juicy cheeks bouncing as they were crawling into the tunnel to find the treasure of Krab's ancestor really did convince me on the fakeness.

In regards to my guesses towards which episodes were real and which were fake, I had actually seen the monster one before, so I could only guess on 2 of them. I got No Shirt, No Circus right because it just felt like the episode had a little too much modern spongebob in it, like you could see where tropes had been picked out of prior episodes. I also don't trust modern episodes to care enough about continuity to make a weenie hut reference. That aside, I actually got The Krabby Gold wrong and thought it was real... because I honestly just wanted it to be real

Damn, I guessed both fake episodes correctly, I'm kinda proud of myself. I mean, the viking one was a clear case, since Henry mentioned it was real and also a friend once showed me a clip of the Olaf joke. With the treasure hunting episode I assumed it to be fake, because it sounded to good to be true, especially the callback to Mr. Crabs fighting undead skelletons. The circus shirt one had me pretty undecided: on the one hand I thought it was to perfect of an example for a "Patrick is a jerk" episode, on the other hand I thought that if you wanted to make a fake "Patrik is a jerk" episode you would include Squidward torture porn. But Henry also noted that it has quite a lot going on for a 11 minute episode so that swayed me into thinking it was fake in the end. In case of the monster episode I was conviced it was true because of the ending. I assumed that neither of you would write such a weird ending to a fake episode, since it would give it away it's fakeness.

i was suspicious of the circus one partly because i knew the vikings episode didn't have that as a B episode (spongebob boyz infamously does one a and one b of the same episode), so i was like "hmm.. i don't remember this.. was it real?" then i googled and couldn't find a specific episode about a circus... the other 2 i TOTALLY believed were real as modern spongebob loves to make call backs to older episodes just for fun. and the monster was one of the episodes in the "legends" anthology that i didn't remember as well.. like i remember a few from that and not this one
