You ever thought about buying a 50 KTM clone motor has an automatic clutch I seen those on bikes they seem to be real reliable

@@yougod7253 my friend had one in his kid raced it was in a dirt bike and he said it was very reliable it never blew up, it has an auto transmission but it totally adjustable Auto clutch

Thank you for posting this video. I have always wondered how these two stroke motors can be so cheap. I guess I know now. I would rather save up, and buy a decent 4 stroke motor, and build a nice motorized bike. It will save me a lot of time and hassles in the future. Cheers.

4 strokes big bore builds are for sure never super easy screw on type build. Tinkering build. But once you get it all set and done. So much better in long term. As far as reliable and long running. Heck of a lot smoother ride.

I have learned so much about small motors and fabrication kills then any other channels. You should really post some videos of your workshop and some how to videos on welding and CAD design skills. 2 strokes? yeah! "Aluminum" Jug Minarelli can hit around 14 grand actually! rod bearings won't live long after 12k! Saw builds I heard can hit 12k! I never tried it lol! but have gotten one up to 11k before. Had one of the Minarelli builds up to 12k once. Practical nope! Greatly shortens life span yes! lol fun 105% lolz

Honestly never owned a bike till 2 years ago. Pandemic hit killed all my rc groups off. But worked on bikes for people last 8 years before that lol. I have 12 1/5 scale 2 stroke trucks and 27 1/5 and 1/4 scale boats. All 2 stroke. Cant even Count my rc helicopter and rc drone collection. But a guy said why not build a bike? Was like I guess lol. But I saw so many people getting screwed and started doing how to's to fix stuff. Honestly biggest reason was a kid in my rc club I ran followed a dumb ass how to la hover did and was severely hurt as a result. So here we are 2 years later and 450 videos later lol

14:36 I’m thinking about getting my first kit 49cc 4 stroke and I wanted to know what are the cons of using a small rear sprocket like 28t or 32t on 4 strokes? Is it not the same as a 2 stroke? Do you still get a speed increase

Cheap* Centrifugal clutch will shutter. With smaller sprocket. If you buy a good mounting bracket. Cast one* vs bent sheet metal type helps a bunch. But better at clutch is main thing helps a 4 stroke kit work with smaller teeth sprocket mostly

What I mean by shutter is it has problems gripping out of gate and tends to vibrate as a result. Frame mount regardless is huge need period. Even with better clutch as cheaper mounts tend to flex causing vibration issues as well or on cheap frame flex leading to chain derailment

It's why ive got a 4 stroke build goin on too. And im thinking itd be best if i got a frame like yours. All i see are the 2.4 liter frames. Theres an Indian inspired gas frame, 4.7liters i think snd some say they are steel and some aluminum, but not for purchase in the states that I'd like to be able to get, especially if i can get a steel one.

In your personal opinion for a 2 stroke do you prefer a mineralli or stihl saw build? I’m leaning towards a Stihl head and piston for my 110cc but don’t know where to buy or start.

Minarelli is great if you buy aluminum top end! Cast iron sucks. Minarelli is super easy to build! Vs saw that is bit more work! Minarelli aluminum top end will cost few 100$$ for top end saw build 45$$ lol! So all about how much time you want to invest making one or how much you want to spend making one. But for a minarelli cast iron top end is not a good choice! Lots problems with those!

Man I buy those 100cc 69.8 CC engines off eBay for $135 I'll go get a bicycle from the thrift store twenty-five or thirty dollars I can build the whole thing for less than $200 I'll clean the engine up champer the ports I usually have pretty good luck

Now to be fair! I hate f'n 4 strokes on gokarts LOL All my gokarts I ever made had 150 to 200cc 2 strokes on them LOL Snow blower 2 stroke engines = Crazy fast on a gokart!

I like them both far as motors go I used to build minibikes for years with the 4 stroke before I ever even got into motorized bikes I’ve built tons of four strokes before great motors I’ve built a lot of 212cc definitely reliable I’m actually been planning on picking up a 212 this week for my next build

Lol it was an ugly day! He touched my bike. It fell over... He said sorry and got into his Corvette. Then my keys dragged down his hood, fender door and trunk as he pulled out to drive off.

You know! I considered a friction drive off a cvt build. Been something I wanted to try for while now. Easy to stop and go. Plus it ramps up in speed as you go. Free wheel soon as you stop the gas. One day lol

Well depends! They are not different then a 2 stroke motorized bicycle kits when you get one! If you don't do certain things to them out of the box they don't last long! Just like 2 strokes full slag and crap like that. #1 failure is valves rocker arms come loose. tearing stuff up Loctite fixes that out of the box never touch it again for long time.
