The mattress is not joke. I bought a Purple mattress a few years back. It ran me 2k for it, but man it was so worth it. No longer wake up to achy shoulders or hips. And I no longer have pools of sweat in the morning.

I often have weird sleep patterns but regardless I count all my hours no matter where they fall and lately make sure im getting 8-10 hours of sleep every 24 hours. I also only train every other day and make any split im doing work around this. Doing this allows me at 46 years old (and natural) to go all out with both volume and intensity every workout at a high work capacity. example being today I did 40 sets to failure, (not counting warm up sets of which there were alot) I don't recommend anyone do this lol I just did it simply as a spontaneous 'because I can' and was 'feeling it' But I mention such as an example of how good rest/sleep and focus on recovery can have you feel almost superhuman when it comes to work capacity (volume/intensity/load) giving you a lot better options for growth even as an advanced lifter

Hey Peter, what is your opinion on the use of heavy duty resistance bands for a guy like me . 54 years old. Been working out from home for the last seven years with weights. Do all the compound lifts and more . Want to continue to get stronger and build a solid physique. Do you think resistance bands have a place in a workout by themselves and or with weights?

Sure take a rest day / week when you need it, but the body isn’t that fragile. Get in there and be consistent and let small wins compound. Vast majority of people don’t really generate enough fatigue where sleep really impacts performance anyway.

I got to have a 1 gallon jug right next to my bed to piss on . And I take sleeping pills cuz for some reason the super sets disrupt my sleep. I do the 5-day Mass program I take one day off on the third day then train another 2 days then rest 2 days and even with that I still have stress .

@BaptistJoshua do you know the term "unethical advertising"? He titled the video as if it was one thing, but it turned out it was just an advertisement.
