And she made the conscious decision to verbally ream this guy while they were alone in his house. It's unfortunate that we have to think of the worst case scenarios but that's how you avoid situations like this.

Yes, very sad that all men are automatically considered suspect when most men are decent. Women are compelled to learn that some men only consider them prey. I believe the situation is continuing to improve though as laws have evolved and human predators of all types are uncovered and face justice. Also heartening to hear accounts of good men coming to the aid of women in bad circumstances with such criminals.
