I have used the oil absorbing sheets for years. It is an easy and inexpensive way to fight oily skin. I always some at work and in my day pack.

For me, Dickinson's Witch Hazel is my on-the-go oily face clean-up. Dickinson's sells individually wrapped witch hazel towlettes (20 per carton). They're also great if you're out camping and you need to clean the dirty and grim off your face.

D Lee I prefer Thayer's alcohol free Witch hazel. It is more gentle on the skin.

I think skin looks best with a, for lack of a better word, dewiness or natural glow. I think it makes one appear healthier. Now, B, i don’t know if you see an esthetician or dermatologist, but the best advice I’ve gotten is to spend the bulk of your money on the middle part of your routine (i.e. serums and anti-aging aids) and less on cleansers and moisturizers. But, for full disclosure my Drunk Elephant moisturizers are really pricey.

The generic ones at Wal-Mart have 100 sheets for less than 5 bucks. Have you tried those?

Hello Brock, I'm glad you have made a video on this to give out this information. I have been using oil absorbing sheets for years and they have worked wonders for me. I hope other guys can benefit. For a more long term solution, topical retinoids (vitamin A and its derivatives) such as Retina-A/Tretinoin (prescription) or Differin (over the counter) decrease oil production over time. This can take many months to years. Not as convenient as oil absorbing sheets, but a long term (albeit moderately expensive) solution. Cheers!

Hi Brock, love your videos. Not sure why you think there is no relationship between diet and acne. Do you have scientific studies that say that? I didn't see any referenced. On the other hand, there is good research linking diet and acne. You may want to look at Dr. Michael Greger's videos for the mechanisms involved; the scientific studies are cited. Here is the link: nutritionfacts.org/topics/acne/ Hope this helps.

I have a very detailed video coming about this topic next week. There is a lot of misinformation about diet and acne, but very little proof of direct links. I’ve done a ton of research on this, along with the other acne myths (hydration, stress, etc.). More to come soon!

It’s hard to not be skeptical about the information presented on the site when none of the dozen or so pages I checked out that claims to have scientific evidence for some statements he makes but doesn’t link to any actual scientific studies.
