I played all day without sunscreen, when I was a kid. I still look younger than my actual age, but I wish that my parents had put sunscreen on me. I put it on my kids now. Another issue I had was with acne, well into adulthood. I was in my 30's before I figured out that Tide laundry detergent was making my skin break out. I started using All Free & Clear, and my face cleared right up. Now I use the Arm & Hammer version of dye and fragrance free because it's cheaper.

I am 30 today and I started with my skincare routine at 28, before that, I did not even use moisturizer and only used sunscreen when I was going to the beach. At 16-17 I had bad acne but it got better around 18-19 because I got some tablets from the doctors, after that my skin was okay, never great and some acne every now and then. It was not until I was 27 that my skin started to get bad acne and this time my skin could not heal itself fast enough like in my teens, I tried some products without knowing what I was doing, some products made my skin sensitive to the sun and even here I did not use sunscreen which kinda left some acne marks that's is still slowly healing today. Now I got a good routine and I get very few pimples and when I do they go away fast. It was thanks to some KZbinrs that I actually got into it and this time I knew what to do.

To those that have been having moderate to severe adult acne, I would recommend isotretinoin or accutane..most adult acne especially cystic or hormonal ones can lead to scarring if not treated & left to go untreated

Very similar, so it would come down to personal preference. I like that Geologie is semi-custom. TH is a little more affordable. It really just depends which one you like better.

I've watched 30+ videos from you in the past 3 days. As a recent grad and now working, I want to put my health and fashion first. Just ordered my routine, got my pants tailored, ordered some chelsea boots, and will be removing clothes I don't use. Excited for my professional look. One question I have, do you bag your shoes when you don't use them? Like the oliver cabells comes with bag, shoe trees on them but Idk if I should put them inside the bag or leave them out.

I had really bad acne at 15 ish and then I started taking care of my skin at around 20. It’s relatively better now but I still have lots of acne on my forehead and the hot and humid ( tropical)weather isn’t helping at all. Also, may of the sunscreen moisturisers are too greasy and they cause further acne. Any suggestions?

Would you say there are significant changes to be made when transitioning from your 20s to your 30s? I've always heard about acids, and anti-aging, eye creams not being necessary as I'm on my 20s, but since I'm on the second half of it I'm curious when would it be appropriated to experiment with it.
@BrockMcGoff
@BrockMcGoff 4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think so, but no need for anti-wrinkle products if you’re in your 20s and don’t have any wrinkles.

That SPF 10 does absolutely nothing! A recommended SPF is 30 or higher. And even then you have to reapply every 2 to 3 hours. An SPF 10 might be something you use when going out at night.
@BrockMcGoff
@BrockMcGoff 4 жыл бұрын
Even SPF 30 would have to be reapplied regularly *if* you're going out in the sun for more than 30 minutes throughout the day. You don't need any SPF if you're going out at night. SPF 30 is overkill for many people who spend most of the day indoors.
@Feltbeats2
@Feltbeats2 4 жыл бұрын
@@BrockMcGoff even when you are indoors. The sunlight still gets in through the windows. Anything lower than an SPF 30 overs little to no protection. Of course you wouldn't need any sunscreen at night, what I was trying to get across was that moisturizers mixed with sunscreen or vice versa do not do a good job. It is better to have them separate and applied on top of one another on your face. If you look at most sunscreens, korean brands, Paula's Choice and other brands who have been around for a long time, you will notice that most of them are 30 up to 50 SPF. There are studies and research that back all this up and that is why the leading skincare brands are where they are, they adhere to these studies and their findings.

Have you ever tried some korean product (actually the best in the market so far)? SK ii, Sooryehan, IOPE, Innisfree...all on a different level, compared to this "commercial" product. :) If you haven't already, you should ;-)
@BrockMcGoff
@BrockMcGoff 4 жыл бұрын
Many of the ingredients in these newer American brands have been used in Korean products for years, but I'm not sure if they're any different now. I think Koreans were just way ahead of the curve (and had less regulations for what ingredients could be used).
@Giammax88
@Giammax88 4 жыл бұрын
@@BrockMcGoff After trying several of these product in the past 2 years I would say that I can clearly see the difference and my skin says thanks. Let's say that in South Korea the "skin care culture" is far ahead compared to other Countries, this is why their products have usually the best quality (I am not saying the others are crap). They cost a lot, but I would say "worth it" for my skin. Not all brands are the same obviously and we are all different, but you should give it a try if you have the chance.

Working out and eating lots of whey/dairy will give more breakouts. But it will also boost your testosterone! So I’d say it’s more worth building up a sick and juicy physique than worrying about acne like some insecure soyboy. I still have a strict and American psycho like routine. But that won’t stop a breakout from happening every now and then. But I’d rather get breakouts with a muscular body. Than clear skin on a skinny body!
