I used Set1 on artist trading cards today. I sharpened the colors I wanted, and wet the shavings then applied the wet paint to my cards. I like the opaqueness of the paint. I had some paint left over so I applied it to another card with a blending brush.

I use my paint brush directly on the crayon. No lines this way, and it turns out smooth and looks like bold watercolor.

Thank you!😊 I am debating between the Tim Holtz wc pencils and Caran d'ache brand; I would like to know your thoughts, please.

I have only used the Caran d’ache crayons. If you use distress inks I would get the TH pencils so all your colours work together.

What sharpener is the best to use with this pencils please?
@ScrapTimeVideos2 жыл бұрын
I'm not at home to see my sharpener, but I would get one that is metal with 2 size holes. Either from an Art Supply store or a crafting store. They aren't very expensive.
@annemariemurphy40492 жыл бұрын
Tim Holtz recommended the Prismacolor pencil sharpener.

Are these the same as Koh i Noor Progresso watercolours?
@ScrapTimeVideos Жыл бұрын
I haven't used the Koh i Noor watercolours so I can't comment.
