They plug their ears with their fingers for fear of death. And God encompasses the deniers. 20 The lightning almost snatches away their sight and vision. They walk a few steps, in a stop and go fashion. When the light helps them, they walk therein. And when darkness prevails on them, they stand still. And if God willed, He could take away their faculties of hearing and seeing. For, God is Able to do all things. 21 O Mankind! Serve your Lord (by serving His creation). He is the One Who has created you and those before your times, so that you may journey through life secure against error. 22 He Who has made the earth habitable for you, and the sky over it like a canopy, and brought down rain from therein so that fruits of His bounty may spring forth for you as abundant provision. When you understand this simple fact, (do not insult your intelligence and) do not equate others with God. 23 (For the real skeptic, here is a reason-friendly offer.) If you are still in doubt concerning what We have revealed to Our servant (Muhammad), call and set up (a committee, commission, organization, association of the highest order) all your helpers besides God, and then produce just one Surah like this, if you are truthful. 24 And if you fail to do it - and fail you will - yet remain haughty and scornful, then guard yourselves against the fire that has been readied for those who oppose the truth, and its fuel is the masses and their stonehearted leaders alike. 25 Convey the happy news to those who have chosen to be graced with belief, and have done acts of service to humanity. "I AM" is Archangel Metatron, The Angel who spoke to Moses in the bush. He is Named Our True Messiah, Enoch the scribe, who is born for Righteousness. "That Son of Man". The Word Is Enoch 💯 facts. I like what you said about efficiency. It’s not that Yahweh isn’t efficient, it’s that WE aren’t efficient. But He is patient and wants us to participate. He has Plan A and only Plan A, and He’s gonna stick to only plan A. It takes two to tango because that’s how He wants it to be, but we keep dropping the ball. But like I said, He’s sticking to Plan A. There never was a Plan B.

@Kevin Belgrove the original scriptures weren’t written in English so by that standard you better learn Hebrew, but also Greek since the new testament was written in Greek. The original texts of the new testament called Him Ioseus not Yeshua, Yeshua is just the name scholars believe he would have been called in his culture. But if you read that scripture you quoted and your takeaway is that the name we say is more important than putting our faith in the person of Christ then you are missing the point. I assume you are a Messianic Jew based on your insistence on Hebrew, but as I said, keep in mind the Book of Acts was written in Greek as were the Pauline epistles and used names Greeks could read in their alphabet which didn’t include the sh sound from Yeshua. Please continue to use Hebrew names if that is what you prefer, but all of us who follow the savior sent by the God of Israel regardless of the language we use will one day be together in Heaven. Born-again 3 years ago at 50 years old. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit causes me to almost constantly watch Christian KZbin channels. The Bible Project is an incredible resource, but “Tim Mackie Archives” is an incredible treasure. His knowledge of Ancient Hebrew and his earnestness allow me to trust his exegesis. No human has perfect exegesis, but Mackie avoids common pitfalls and has passion for our triune God. May God continue to bless him. And remember when his Lord had Abraham go through trying circumstances with His commands, and he fulfilled them. Then He said, “I have appointed you an exemplary leader for all mankind.” He asked, “And of my offspring (will there be exemplary leaders as well)?” He replied, “My Covenant does not include the wrongdoers.”

We believe in God, and the revelation that has been given to us, and (the surviving truth) in what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, as well as the Tribal Israelite Prophets and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to all Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among them (since all of them were one in purpose and they got their guidance from the One True God). Jesus did claim to be God. Many times. Here are two examples. But how come YHVH's "son" is nowhere to be found near those 6800 times. Mitchell C No, Jesus is God. The Holy Spirit, The Father, and The son are collectively God. The 3 in 1. If Jesus was not God, then how could his sacrifice save the whole of humanity? If Everyone is born in sin, how was Jesus so pure that he could overcome death? Jesus is God. Claiming Jesus is not God, means that we can become equivalent to Jesus. If we could have become equivalent to Jesus the whole time, then there would be no use for Jesus’s sacrifice. God the Father would have just killed everyone and resurrected them if it was that simple. Jesus is God.

Angel Racing I know it's been a while since you posted but I feel it's my Christian duty to inform you that Tim is NOT correct. The only thing that is true, is God's name is Yahweh. The Hebrew word for Lord is adoni 1Chr 21:3 and Ps.136:3 "la adone ha adonim" "Lord of lords". Just because you capitalize it, doesn't change it to Yahweh. Ask yourself why some bible writers take out the divine name and change it to LORD. Doesn't the bible say not to add or take away anything? Honestly I can't believe the blatant misguided long winded lecture he's giving accept to suck people in that won't research or think for themselves. 1Cor. 8:5,6 one God, our father, and one Lord, Jesus. Notice not all capitalized. Food for thought....John 10:30 "I and the father are one"- Mark 10:8 "and the two shall become one flesh". Are we to take both scriptures literally or just one or does it mean "one" in union together like at John 17:21. Keep on seeking and taking in knowledge please on your own. Mitchell C Many thnx, The church here, I can’t really call it ‘my’ church because in my point of view the Pastor doesn’t live and teach according to Jesus’s teachings. But they do teach the Trinity and after many praying and watching a lot of pastors online who explain the teaching of the Trinity and after reading the Bible many times over and focusing on Jesus and his teachings I couldn’t for example find anywhere that Yahweh is obedient. I know He is humble, He have shown that many times. Especially with Moses. But Jesus is obedient. I’m still looking for a good pastor or website purely based on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. Do you maybe have any suggestions? There’s no church in my area that I can attend unfortunately, I’ve looked around.

this is the third time I have watched this, it is so amazing that I am in the middle of the triangle of love (see part 1). This "hebrew grammar lesson" also gives me a little more depth to one of my favourite verses - John 14 v20 . This is probably incorrect but for me I now say "in that day, you will know that Yahweh is in Elohim and that you(myself) am in Yahweh and that Ehyeh is in me" Wow, I cannot understand this in this life but it gives me an amazing sense of the presence of the One who is what He is, all time and never changes. Much of Jesus's suffering on the cross was due to his separation from the father. and often hell fire is metaphorical. is it not fair to say that the spiritual suffering we experience apart from God can be compared to the pain of physically fire? is it not possible to experience some of that while and earth? I also am pretty sure it is fair to say that hell is a state of being rather than an actual location. both fire and spiritual separation can be experienced anywhere. these are the kids of things that are sorted out by language scholars, which Tim is. BTW, I have seen that video, but it is a different video. the video that we are commenting under is not about Hell. Are you just going around telling people to not listen to Tim?

Thank you pastor Tim. But the story about the burning tree and God telling Moses to take off his sanddles is not about how dirty his sanddles are, it is a cultural norm in those days as a way to say that I have no authority hear. In fact in the book of Ruth Abimalik asked the next of kin to relinquish his responsibility toward Ruth and he did that by taking off his saddles. It is a cultural sign submitting authority to another. Hope this helps :)

Exactly, there is a difference in the bible between LORD and Lord or God and a god. Jesus gives an example how to pray, he said - Matthew 6:9,10 NIV: " 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." He didn't say our will be done and which name should be hallowed: Fathers name: YAHWEH.

I See the power of God at work in their lives. However, Ive seen the power of God in the lives of people who call on the name of Jesus as well. I cannot answer you on the facts you've listed. I only desire that truth come and that it be revealed to me so that I can see. The name of Jesus has been used to call on the son of God for centuries. To believe those men/women did not receive the gift of salvation because they were taught the wrong name I somehow find it hard to accept that it disqualifies true faith in heart.

There is an error in your understanding of 1 Corinthians 8:5-6, concerning the word Lord. I know it can be confusing but hear me out. As you can see in 1 Corinthians 8:6, the word Lord there only has the L capitalized, to tell the reader it refers to the word Adonai in the Hebrew, Kurios in the Greek and Lord in the English all of which mean Master. Had the translators wanted to refer Lord to Yahweh it would have been in all Caps like this LORD. Here is the confusing part, . Kurios doesn't mean Yahweh, it was used in it's place so the Jewish people would say Adonai instead of Yahweh. The Jewish people started a tradition that "Christianity' inherited, that no one was to say the name of Yahweh because it was to sacred. They therefore put the vowels of the word Adonai into the text say the reader was reminded to say Adonai instead of Yahweh when reading out loud. Christianity goes further by removing the name of Yahweh all together and replacing it with LORD all caps so the name Yahweh would not be said, to follow this (false) and unscriptural tradition of the Jews. I think maybe it was more a case of it sounding too Jewish for many. In any case this is why we have LORD instead of Yahweh in our Bibles. So in 1 Corinthians 8:5-6, the verse should read. 5 For even if there are so-called mighty ones, (elohim/gods) whether in heaven or on earth - as there are many mighty ones (elohim/gods) and many masters 6 for us there is one Elohim (God), the Father, from whom all came and for whom we live, and one Master(Adonai/Kurios/Lord) יהושע (Yahushua/Jesus) Messiah, through whom all came and through whom we live. The Messiah said Yahweh the Father was the True Elohim and that Yahweh the Father was his Elohim. In the beginning the Son was brought forth by the Father and was the Father's workman and spokesman. The Son is not the Father but he is the very image of the Father. The son is Elohim (a mighty one) but he is not "The" Elohim/Almighty one! Yahweh the Father is the source of all things, without him the son could not do anything. This is the meaning of the verse. Yahweh the Father is Elohim, and the Messiah is our Master, for Yahweh has given him that authority. Shalom, peace

No where in Bible Jesus pbuh said "I am God. worship me." How can Jesus(Peace Be Upon Him) be GOD Almighty in the light of the following verses? 1 Corinthians 11:3 "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." If jesus was God Why God is Head of Jesus? If Jesus was GOD, then why in Mark 12:29 Jesus said "Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." These are good questions and comments but, it doesn't matter if Jesus is the God of the bible or the Son of Yahweh because in Matthew 15:24 Jesus proclaims that he "only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel". That is no one alive today. In Hebrews 9:15, the Apostle Paul teaches that, "redemption was for sins committed under the first covenant (the Old Covenant). Matthew 5:18 says the Old Covenant passed away at the end of the Old Covenant system which took place in AD 70, which means there is no Old Covenant Law today and in Romans 5:13, the Apostle Paul said, "where there is no (Old Covenant) Law, sin is not imputed". This of course means that salvation was only needed by those who had sin imputed to them, which is no one alive today. Only Israelites were loved by Yahweh per Ps.147:19-20, Jeremiah 31:31 &33, Amos 3:2, Deut.7:6-7. Jesus considered all non-Israelites "dogs" as in Mathew 15:21-26, the story of the Canaanite woman and her demon-possessed daughter. Today's self-proclaiming "christians" have been duped by a misappropriated redemptive narrative appearing soon AFTER AD 70. It's been a circus of error ever since.

It's wonderful that you have many questions that you crave the answer to. Our fallen human brains cannot comprehend the fullness let alone all the ways of the Lord - and so we wrestle with lots of questions, including the ones you pose, sometimes throughout our lives. If I may, I recommend asking God your questions and pouring over the Scriptures in their context of the books and the Bible as a whole to be a starting point (this is assuming you have declared with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior and believed in your heart). Praying for God to send mature Biblical Christians that will walk and wrestle alongside you through your questions is an added request you could make as well. As for food for thought: Hebrews 1:3; Isaiah 42:8; Isaiah 52:13-53:13; Matthew 9:2-8; John 3:16; 1 Peter 2:18-25, Hebrews 7:24-25; Romans 3:10-18, 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9, 10:13, 8:1; Acts 4:12. For me, it's always been helpful to remember that God is jealous and He will not be mocked; He will not surrender His glory to another or His praise to idols. There's no "sharing the spotlight," remember Deuteronomy 6:4-5 which Jesus says in Mark 12:29-30: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." May you seek the Lord and in His will and timing receive the answers that will truly satisfy. You use the argument that Jesus was referred to as Lord to equate the Son with the Father. However, earlier in your presentation you mentioned that God the Father is referred to as LORD (all capitals). Jesus however is referred to as the Christ Lord and not LORD. Also, if you claim that Jesus is God and equal to the Father, that means you believe that God has a God. How could that be? And it is definitely clear in the bible that Jesus has a God. It is often written in the scripture, ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ’. What do you make of that? Along the same lines, what do you make of what Timothy wrote? That is, ‘For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.' It is clear that these biblical writers considered the Father above Jesus Christ, whom they refer to as Lord and the mediator between God and man, not as God Himself, but rather as the Son of God and also the Messiah. God is revealed through Jesus. The Father is revealed through the Son and that is why in knowing the Son, we know the Father. The Son is an expression of God, but the Son is not equal to God the Father. Most New Testament writers express this view. John may have had a different view, and not always at that, but John was also different in many ways from the other biblical authors, and the latter cannot all have been wrong in viewing the Father as the God of Jesus.
