Hey Galu, I'm a new subscriber! I have gotten into Third Age TW by watching youtubers like Lionheart and Pixelated Apollo, and started playing Divide & Conquer myself and it's BY FAR my favorite Total War adaptation (including all the original games) to play and watch. I think you and the mod team got everything down perfectly and I especially love the custom scripts you guys added which make the game so much deeper. Then I found out you have a channel on youtube so thanks for all your hard work and passion so all of us eager middle earth lovers can dive straight in!

This was plain and simple brilliant. Literally matched opinion and ideology so much! I myself am a music "hybrid" and listen to a LOT of two steps from hell, (with obviously heart of courage being the best.) In addition with the flags very interested and am also a firm proud imperialist! Despite acceptance of constructive criticism I would ignore any comment as I have to say your unique style is simply brilliant! the fact that you don't watch any let's plays is a positive one as you being your own style to the videos and as a fond dac player the insight about updates is very interesting. Have been subsicred since before 700 subscribers the growth and quality increase of your channel I have to commend! Great work! P.s off point (as a Welshman obviously) what's your opinion of the Lions squad which I thought tied in nearly with the rugby/New Zealand theme of the video?

Glorfindel is my absolute favourite character, too! I'd been sort of a Gandalf-fangirl (something to do with him saving the day almost ALL the time) ever since my father read The Hobbit to me when I was six or so. However, once I came upon Glorfindel in The Fellowship of the Ring, that was it - and that was even before I found out that the guy used to kill Balrogs for a living ;) I'm too lazy to check the facts right now, but wasn't he the only Elf (with the exception of Luthien) to be sent back to Middle-earth and given another life there? AND the Valar gave him powers almost equal to theirs... In your Gondolin-video you mentioned something akin to him being possibly the greatest of all Elves in ME, and I must say - even taking into account people like Feanor, Galadriel etc - I agree whole-heartedly! Hands down, no contest :D Thanks for making such informative videos!

If I may be so bold as to recommend a game, I would recommend Age of Wonders III (store.steampowered.com/app/226840/) which is essentially HoMM III crossed with Total War. The specific features it expands on from HOMMIII is researching spells, army flanking and positioning, morale, population in cities, random events, among many other things. I just thought I would bring it up since you mentioned HOM III.

Love listening to your lore videos, have enjoyed the gameplay campaigns, certified fan. Have you ever taken a deep look into Elder Scrolls lore? There are definitely lore similarities to the universe of LOTR.. It would be interesting to compare some of the obvious links there. I'm fairly knowledgeable about TES lore, especially from religiously playing Morrowind, reading the books, sadly indulgent wiki research, etc. So, if that's a comparison convo you'd like to explore/ need details, let me know. Btw, after reading LOTR like 10 years ago, I remember thinking Imrahil was a fucking BAMF! I'm not sure I remember this correctly, but I have this scene from the books in my head... Where Aragorn and Imrahil are like back-to-back on a hill in Pelenor Field, making a noble stand in the chaos of battle, shining in pale, scrutinizing light. Did that really happen or did I just over-imagine that scene? I lost my old books... : /

Your favorite book series is lost fleet?! I mean they were enjoyable but I think you need to read more ^^ - then again, tastes differ (thank god). I recently finished a series I thought was very interesting mainly because it's different - The Black Company series, which follows a mercenary unit in a weird dark fantasy world. Pretty good stuff you should try out the first one.
@someguy9697 жыл бұрын
btw my guy the "latin" names you mentioned are not all strictly "spanish" by any means.. latin as you know is a ("dead") language and a very live and vibrant cultural group.. spanish people became mostly Latino due to colonization of the americas (putting that extremely lightly) all the the while actually being Moorish/ Adriatic then later Native American people that moved across the atlantic and or were already truly american any who. I realize im knit-picking but that correct distinction goes an incredibly long way my dude. Salute!
