I would have definitely put infamous on that list, especially considering how good the graphics were for such an early title It was only 2008 and it looks as good as any of the games that came out years later But even without the graphics the game was just really fun and I really enjoyed the story The only games I can think of on the PS3 that I liked more were the last of us and maybe Mass effect

You can make the case that this generation of consoles was the greatest of all. The jump in power allowed developers to give us an unbelievable jump in story, graphics, and gameplay. As you went through the 20, I was blown away by how many times I said “Oh Yeah!”. While the PS4 and PS5 are great, we will never have that same sense of awe of turning on these classics.

@@theacolyte9223 I’ve been through most of them. My first console was the Magnavox Odyssey back in 1974. You had mylars that would attach to the tv to make you think the games were different. You would rub the mylars on your head so they would attach with static electricity. Since then, I have owned or played most counsel systems. It has been a fun ride to see all the changes in 50 years. So believe me when I say the PS3 jump was the biggest leap ever.

Great Vid! Agree with some of the other comments that Killzone 2 should be on the list - for me a Top 5 PS3 game. Also Fallout 3, my No1! Would add Motorstorm as a launch title, still remember the WOW moment of powering up the PS3 for the first time with Motorstorm, looked awesome in HD and online gameplay brought tension not experienced before! Heavy Rain was groundbreaking & Modnation Racers brought new things to the table also. Never really took to Journey myself. Controversial but never understood why was how under rated Bioshock 2 is, best action and atmospheric game of the franchise in my opinion!

I loved those Resistance games. Personally, my favorite was Resistance 3. Those games are the first time I relented and played an FPS on a console with a controller... since there was no other option to play them and they looked so interesting to me. I'm glad I did, as I had a ball with them. :-) It's a shame they haven't made any new games recently. I hope they return to it.

Glad someone is finally talking about the resistance games. They clearly saw how slow Halo was and allowed you to actually sprint and move generally quicker, plus a better, grittier narrative than Halo.

A few months ago, I bought two PS3's with GTA V along with it. On the exact day I wanted to play online with a friend of mine the service was shut down..... Now I've jailbroken those PS3's and installed some program where I can download every game ever directly from and to the console. I've been playing coop zombies on the thing ever since. To bad Black Ops 3 just won't start the game without connection to the servers tho.

Only thing I may add to comment this amazingly well put together video is that Demon's Souls graphics & sounds > Dark Souls to me and many fans I know. Not that I minded the Souls' sounds or sights myself at all, it's just that the lushly unique graphics engine of Dem Souls was abandoned for the rest, and it's a tad nice in my book. I may like the Ps5's remake even more now, haven't seen it!

I sometimes stunk at multiplayer, sometimes I was average or above average. My best Kill streak was 15 or usually a baker’s dozen and NO matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t get past 15 kills! 🙄 I might have gotten a sweet 16 Once! 😎

The only problem with Uncharted 2 is that the final boss fight was pretty awful. Long, drawn out, but still pretty easy. Just run in circles, take cover, shoot, repeat. Would have been nice if that fight had some thought put into it to make it interesting.
