@@kirkwahmett859 yeah metallica's first 4 albums is nice also sepultura I like More but if you look the entire work about thrash metal sound Metallica continue with a different sound which I haven't listen enough as it didn't catch my attention. Anyway this this was my opinion. I like the pure thrash metal sound and at this context I believe That destruction is the n1 band concerning the entire work and pure thrash metal sound. Megadeth maybe is not a band with this pure thrash metal sound is more technical but for me megadeth and destruction is 2 bands who never stop to make true and awesome music. Every album of theese 2 bands is really nice

Talking about riffs that probably must be one of the best albums in metal history, of course Metallica has Ride The Lightning, Testament's The Legacy and Kreator's Coma of Souls and more, but, also Overkill is one of the most consistent ones, I mean, if you hear any album of them you will like them, maybe that could apply to Testament too but probably not on Kreator because of Endorama mainly, and I refuse to talk about Metallica's

sure that metallica changed a lot through time, but the first 4 albums are enough to have them up there. they're very different from each other, being justice the most thrash in aggressive ways. i'd change megadeth with slayer in that ranking great video dude

True that. I've been a metal fan for as long as i can remember but i can't help but find my life would be shit if its all i had to listen. My older brother was also into early techno stuff like autechre, aphex, and model 500 and my dad was into disco / funk / soul. My mum was a jazz pianist and i grew up watching her play fusion. If you just hate a person for liking a certain type of music in general, you weren't listening to metal properly because that was never the message. x
