Thank you for watching this video! We're so excited to be catching up on all of this footage from our first few weeks in India & will be uploading 2 videos this week. We're so grateful for all of the friendly staff & strangers that made this an easy ride. We were only able to book the train thanks to our Wise card (this is NOT sponsored in any way, it was just a genuine lifesaver) so if you're going travelling and want one for yourself, here is our referral link to join: bit.ly/raychel-wise

For less than 6-7 hours journey you can try Executive class of Vande bharat express. This train is available in most of the cities across India.

As a foreigner, certain train routes have tickets set aside for foreign tourist quota. The last time I was there these couldn’t be booked online and had to be booked in person at the train station 24 hours in advance. It allows you to book a train pretty last minute which is kind of hard to do otherwise if you want to guarantee a seat (any train will let you buy a ticket and get on but you won’t have a seat unless you have reserved one). The foreign tourist quota tickets are purchased from a separate desk at the train station (you’ll just have to ask where it is). We were asked for our passports, visas and photocopies too so good to have some of these handy! Oh and give sleeper class a try, not quite as luxe but comfortable beds and fresh air from the window so never felt too hot! 😊

You're right. But there are problems. I'm a South Indian. When we go to the North, further than Maharashtra, we prefer to travel by the AC Class (2 tier, 3 tier, First Class). In North, passengers with General tickets might enter your coach and may create a huge chaos. Sometimes, the officials would not even care to come check out. So I recommend traveling in an AC Class. But if you're in the south, there wouldn't be much of a problem in Sleepers.

finally...been waiting so long for this video... as you are are 2 person channel, guys it'll be awesome if you try posting more frequently, you will get more engagement and relevancy from the viewers and also let you make a bond with them... and score up the views, i know its hard keeping up with all the things going on and specially in a country like India. you also have to also travel, explore and enjoy privately; i get it , but yeah try to at least 1 or 2 times a week of medium-length videos... love you two and have a beautiful journey up ahead..

Nice to see you two enjoying your time in Agra. For short-distance travel, I would prefer Vande Bharat trains with Chair cars. It may not be that easy to get the cheapest options (2 *3 seat configurations), but you may get lucky to get tickets in the executive class (2 * 2 seat configurations). Those trains are comfy and trendy. Enjoy Agra.

Yes, you are right as a foreigner you would face problems in online train ticket booking. But if you book it offline on prior basis, I mean simply go to Rail (Train ) Station > go to the Ticket booking counter > Tell him that you want take a reservation ticket > He will give you a form which you need fill up with your details > Then they will check for the reservation. Most of the time you may get 1st class ticket easily as because those are expensive to afford for all. So go for 1st class, then you will easily get offline reservation. Happy journey 💖✨

In India, You will be heckled and annoyed by People wanting you to buy stuff. The right way to do it is not even notice them. Just look away and ignore them, they go away. If you even start talking, They think you show interst to buy stuff and bother you more.. That's how we locals do it !

Haha, the ol walk to meet the uber 😅 definitely what I prefer to do as well, but rebuffing all the other offers can be tiring and funny all at once 🥴 Have you tried 12goasia for the trains as well? Not sure if you can actually use them to purchase trains in India (for example - I have used them in south East Asia and China, and worked great but kept coming up as an option for central asia but didn't actually work to book) but might be another one worth looking into. Thanks for sharing and loving following along 🤗

Mann!! after watching our Vande Bharat sleeper coaches, I seriously wants them to replace these old rajdhani coaches with it..These are really old coaches and not a great sight tbh!!! Maybe in future if u decide to visit India again, u will gonna find some serious changes from train coaches being replaced with vande bharat, increased train speed with more equipped and better looking train station!! Its all in the construction phase right now!!1
