Cleome is such a lovely unique flower and it handles our high heat like an absolute champ! I grew mine in direct sun but it's great to know that it can handle part shade.

Yes, we are relatively the same USDA zones but she can plant out much sooner than I and we have such different conditions. She is a great resource.

ACE hardware has plants that other nurseries don't carry, I found many interesting herbs there.

Yes, I found another tri-color sage with this golden one and it is gorgeous too. I am trying to propagate it now too to have more for my mediterranean garden area.

Thank you, I knew some would but others may not. I am zone 8B and the one I purchased won't overwinter here, I hoped to prevent someone else make the same mistake of buying a variety that won't overwinter for them. Which variety do you have? I may want to find one for my garden.
