Hi Kate. Just wanted to say thanks for your kindness and generosity. I have been working my way through your short and beginner videos and have been feeling really healthy and happy in my body as a result. Twenty years of fabrication and construction work has been really hard on my body but I'm starting to see a way to wellness through daily practice which brings me so much hope and joy. This felt sooo good that I did the upper body stretch right after. I'll he adding this to my regular routine! Question...is there a modification for sitting on your knees/heels? I'm not there yet, my knees and ankles are terribly stiff.

There are modifications for the knees and it kind of depends on what you're experiencing: 1. Extra padding under the knees - double up mat or use a blankey. 2. Padding under the thighs - this lifts the booty up and is less intense on the knees. A blanket or bolster is great for this. 3. If neither of these feel good, swap out elephant walks for the first exercise and stretch the top of your foot standing and roll over the toes. You can use a door way or wall for stability but try not to skip the top of the foot stretch - it's an important and often neglected area! Report back if these do or don't work!
