This 20 minute workout uses a set of light dumbbells and a mat to strengthen and tone your muscles using barre inspired moves, all while lengthening and stretching. Options for all fitness levels.

Wow!! I hadn't seen this workout before, just saw it on your Insta post. I usually do this type of workout on a Sunday. Can't wait to try it!! I've been doing one of your workouts 5 days a week, every week for two years now. I have really transformed my body and improved my mind (mood/stress levels). You are my workout buddy! Love this workout!! I have been following Amy since March and started her workout schedule in May. She has completely changed my attitude about working with weights, (body, dumbbells, kettlebell) and I am grateful! I have seen changes in my body and feel so much stronger & more positive about myself. I'm 45 and this is a new beginning for me! Thank you for doing what you do & positively impacting so many people in so many different ways! xoxo

I found this one via Amy's IG post. This was a perfect change up from the kettlebell and dumbell workouts that are my usual Amy go-to's. I like to take a break from those workouts during certain times of the month when I don't have the energy to do anything too strenuous; the lighter weights and the stretching makes it much more do-able and still challenging enough to get my sweat on. A good gateway workout to ease into heavier lifting. More light dumbell workouts please.

Managed to finally tried this out. Recovering from a back injury so this was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much, Amy! Please make more workouts like this! It is so hard to find barre workouts on KZbin that have instructors like you. Firm and clear in your instructions but kind and encouraging without being overly (and sometimes annoyingly!) enthusiastic. I love the balance that you and your videos bring! ❤️

Amazing! Love this woman! Her instructions, choice as to how hard you take it and also respect for problem areas like neck and back are sooo helpful! Her videos making a big difference to my body which the most importantly-is manageable! Susan

Thank you for this workout!! I have chronic Lyme's, so workouts like this in length with lots of gentle joint movements are perfect for loosening up all the aches and stiffness that come with Lyme's Disease. I love that they also help keep my muscles tone and strong...it has been really challenging finding the right balance in workouts that do that without totally exhausting me due to Lyme's. So thank you again for creating something that's just right! Any chance you'd be up for making more workouts like this one?

Great full body workout in a short amount of time. I had done a little morning yoga first; I was soooo glad when you said we were hitting the mat. This is not the first time your description was deceptive! I could not do the last plank move with the weights but that was fine with me. Even with 2lb weights this workout felt so good I am not lifting anymore, which was my plan for today. I did repeat the stretching at the end. Maybe just going for a walk now lol

OMG! And I thought this was going to be an 'easy' 20 minutes!! This was a GREAT shorter workout--did it for the first time today, and it pretty much kicked my butt!! I'm a sweaty mess and that's a good thing!! Thanks, Amy!!

Just watched this to get an idea of the exercise...looks fab. I would start tomorrow, but the last 2 exercises, which involve moves with side plank, are no good for my shoulders. What else can I do?

You will get fit and toned for sure!!! I've been working out with Amy's videos, 5 days a week, for a year now and I'm the fittest I've ever been!! I've lost 20# and have a BMI of 21, from a size 12 to a size 6, so if I can do it, so can you!! Enjoy and have Fun!!

I have been following Amy's workouts for almost 2yrs and I lost all my baby weight. (2 babies in a row) For me it took some time to finish her workouts without dying. Trust me you will be able to do all the moves 6mos to a yr. Abs are finally back to being strong again thank you Amy and no diastasis recti(which my Dr. Was impressed) Prior to preg. 125lbs gained 40-50lbs each pregnancy and now Thanks to Amy's workouts back to 128lbs and feeling great and strong! I use her workouts 3-4 times a week.
