The way Manny sits at the table! It just melts my heart. Reminds me of me as a kid. My mom did the same with me, as soon as I could sit at a table to eat. And she was strict (well I say strict but to me it's the norm), eating only at the table (exemption for (some) snacks), but no taking your dinner plate to the couch! No way. My mom would not have it in her house, and I can't blame her.

Speaking of lazy Susan's. I hated mine so much - I yanked it out - and use it for bulk storage. The big boxes from Costco, etc... I just hated that thing. it also had a tight squeeze and was tough to get into. However, I have seen Lazy Susan organizers! Similar to the clear plastic can organizers - they have section dividers for LS"s. Might be worth looking into. You could put all the tomatoes in one, beans in one, soup in another, etc... label each one! ooooohhhh....labels...oooohhh... In my pantry I have TONS of the rectangle clear bins - each with a label. I even did that in the fridge a bit. It helps so much! Pleases my heart, too!

I thought Betty Crocker was a real person also. Your husband is sweet. Now that my husband is older he helps me a lot but not with cooking but cleaning hard floors and loading dishwashers he really good at that lol.
