20 Minute TRX Leg + Booty Workout | Timed Circuits

This 20-minute(ish) TRX workout will focus on the entire lower body: glutes, hamstrings, quads, and calves. The only thing you need is a suspension trainer! Set your strap to mid-length for the entire duration. We have 3 blocks. Within each bock there are 4 exercises that we will repeat twice. We will perform each exercise for 30 seconds before getting a 15 second "recovery". You can take a full recovery OR go for the challenge which is to hold an isometric squat or lunge variation with me. The first three exercises of each block will become progressively more challenging. As a modification, you can always repeat the previous exercise. The first block is bilateral and blocks two and three are unilateral which will challenge your core, balance, and stability a little bit more. You can watch the clock for the countdown or listen to the whistle for when to go and when to stop.

Wonderful workout! Can you please give more information on the curtsy squat? I didn't know how my hip/ankle/knee should line up and it didn't look good for my joints, so I switched to side lunges for that part.

During squat, are the knees supposed to be over heel?

It depends. If your goal is to bias the glutes more, keeping the knee tracking over the heel will allow for more hip flexion. If you were wanting to focusing more on the quads, allowing the knee to travel over the toes will allow for more knee flexion and quads. It depends on what feels best for you and what your goal is with the squat. With the squat in this video I’m focusing more on hinging from the hips and keeping the knees more in line with the foot/heel. Other notes - stay grounded in your base, keep your core tight, and limit excessive movement in spine. Hope this helps ❤️
