One thing I've learned to watch for that helps weed out the garbage on Netflix is that little red N icon on the movies thumbnail when going through there selection. If the movie you are considering has that red N, it means it is a Netflix original. Its best to stay away from those. They are almost always crap and to be honest, if you've seen one you seen them all. They basically take the same movie and make it over and over again with different actors and settings. Netflix originals look good, but they aren't. Stick with the real movies and avoid the red N.

I've probably watched Jaws 100 times over the years and it NEVER gets old. The scene where Quint gets eaten by the shark is just brutal to watch. I was 5 when it came out and when it did folks were scared to DEATH to go into the ocean....heck even in lakes and ponds too LOL it had that profound of an effect on everyone's psyche. Quite an accomplishment for a movie to do that for years after release...........

I'm both grateful and jealous-- you have an excellent platform here to enlighten us about film, and you're good at it, and though (like anyone) I can't agree about everything you say, I agree with quite a bit. That being said... I've been saying what you said about Blade Runner for decades. DECADES dude. You said it better. More concise and respectful, but mostly more efficiently. The very points you made about the age of the film and how much has been borrowed, and how little of anything like it (read: nothing) came before... is what I tried to explain years before it finally had momentum as not just an underground hit, but recognized as a great resource and piece of art imitated endlessly to this day. Thank you. I'm jealous you get to say it and now take credit for the concepts (yeah I know it's been said before but yours was lean and mean), and I'm kicking myself for not getting a channel rolling myself long ago... but grateful you do film experience justice so often.

Jaws has one of my favorite camera tricks and is possibly the first time I ever saw it. I don't know the name of the technique, but it's done using a zoom lens and the camera moving away from the actor at the same time. In Jaws it's used when Roy Sheider is on the beach and sees the shark. I remember reading that the crew named the prop shark Bruce. That kills me.

Definitely this Best ReWatch Movies List must be one of your Repeat Review Formats. I bought and watched nine of them repeatedly. for years and years, too... and probably would have watched more of them more... except I can't stop myself from rewatching The Game over and over again... and pretty much demand that any new person I meet must watch and become hooked on it, too. Just sooooo clever... and gives no clue as to what's really happening... and I guess that's sooooo intriguing to me because I'm rarely surprised by movies. I tend to predict all the surprises with the first 20 minutes. This one just picked up where all my wealthy bored friends were back in the day and play a little trick on them and just went nonstop past the unexpected and never stopped surprising until the very end. So well done. Loved it! Now, gotta watch it again.

I LOVE "The Labyrinth""! 🥰 Still re-watch this one even tho I'm 48 by now... And "JAWS" also a favorite. "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" REALLY made me Notice Johnny Depp & his Girl (in movie) cuz the talent they got is just Crazy!!! ❤‍🔥 & DiCaprio also. Amazing Performances indeed! Always Good Movie & you name Director! Have a Nice One! ✌

I can vouch for you on that Versace Eros, been using it for awhile now and I love it. I also love Dolce&Gabbana's THE ONE. Give that a shot if you can. EDIT: Well damn. I paused the video when I typed that and after starting I see they recommended THE ONE like I just said lol. Now I'm interested in that Skylar Salt Air...

My kids watched Spy Kids 100s of times. It was on repeat in our home ; they knew all the dialogue by heart and would reenact the scenes.
