Since social media has become so profound in our culture, it's safe to assume almost everyone in America has access to it now. I think what we're seeing is pockets of people that DO still believe in the old ways of how we used to live, and they are supporting politicians that are mad with how things are going. So, it makes sense in my mind why we are seeing these types of things going on. I think in the future we will probably see more of this unfortunately just because it never really died out. It's still very much alive in America. I hope one day we can all learn to respect one another, whether we have different views or not, because fighting among ourselves isn't going to get us anywhere except in more trouble. The Emancipation Proclamation only freed slaves in states that were in rebellion. Slave states that were not in rebellion (seceded from the union) got to keep their slaves. That's why West Virginia was created.
