I was a teen in the 70s! I clearly remember some of these!! Being a 1958 baby, I can remember some really ancient vehicles!! When I was in grade school, there were still quite a few cars & trucks on the road dating back to the 1940s!! Even the 1930s!! Not too different to seeing vehicles from the 80s & 90s today!!

What a waste of time! All of these were very common in the 60’s and 70’s. Pure click bait!!!
@Carolinastrucks3 ай бұрын
@@richardhedlund3774 some are even still pretty common, like the gmc/Chevy c70s as grain trucks. Same with the ford 9000 They needed trucks like bicentennial kdub s or autocar Ds or the Ryder paystar

I love and wish I had 1 of each! That’s when companies knew how to make “REAL TRUCKS!!”

Yeah I guess the "Chevrolet" Astro is probably the rarest truck ever. I don't think I have ever seen one.

@@larrywalker7759 I’ve seen a few.

@@Carolinastrucks The Astro 95 was a GMC product first released in 1969. In 1970 Chevrolet released their version as the Titan 90. Chevrolet never released a class 8 truck with the moniker "Astro". In the mid 1980s Chevrolet released the Astro van and the GMC version was called Safari.

I thought that you said "RAREST". Through the Mack DM there wasn't even 1 rare truck! I'm done.

You want to talk Trucks with Power how about a 900 Kenworth with a 600 HP Cummins K block or a 600 Hp Cat 3408. These engines had power and torque.

The powerful 8V71 and robust 8.2 Detroit diesel. You obviously never drove anything with those piles of crap in them.
@garymichalski51973 ай бұрын
Obviously doesn't know anything about trucks. Just reading things off cards. Freightliner FLD did not come out till 1987 also K100 did not have hood. As it is a cab over model truck
@busterhymen62243 ай бұрын
I like all of those trucks, even the Ford. I do feel especially fond of Autocar trucks, but you didn't include them.

Including the Kenworth K100... Which they said had an iconic long nose! I almost fell out of my chair. This video is a POS these trucks were almost all common not rare. And there are more inaccuracies than accuracies in the commentary!

I don't know about your calendar, but on my calendar 1951 (#!0) is not in the 1970s. #9 was first built in 1960 and lasted through 1966.
