Good job Kelly and mark now days you must know all the time where your kids are and what they are doing. Cell phones are the worst invention no one talks anymore everyone has a phone in their hands it's the kids lifeline.they can't even sit at a dinner table without that phone . Keep up the good work Kelly.

I agree 100% with everything I saw in this video about parenting. I raised my two beautiful children very similar to this except when it came to cell phones, I realized the troubles I would have if I gave young kids cell phones so, I waited until they were about 17 years old to let them have cell phones and I spent the next year or until they moved out on their own teaching them how to manage their cell phones. They are now 25 and 26 yrs old and have been very respectful, well mannered, responsible and successful managing their money, phones and lives. I'm very proud of them both!

I agree 100% my mom was exactly the same raising us! Unfortunately she passed away when I was a teenager, but I thought my younger siblings the same as my mother did. It's about discipline. I actually had the pleasure to meet Kelly Ripa at a restaurant years ago with all her family and they where very polite! She was was super nice. In that same restaurant I met Barbara Walters and she was the opposite.

Well, I believe in both. You just need to know when what applies. That way your child will trust you above others, and your influence is greater than that of a parent alone. However, these days we need more parenting since being a friend has been overused.

I think it's amazing that Kelly is a real mom, not a Star mom who is to busy to parent they're children well. Good for your, Kelly. I agree that you have to be mom first, but you should also be a friend to your children. Children will listen and share so much better if they feel close to their parents. I know it's not want, especially since society doesn't support parents, but you can be both a parent and a friend to your children.

I agree with Kelly in almost to a certain Extant. ur right our kids are not our friends. but is so important that Dad and mom are working together. kids need to see it as partnership with the parents not just one side. When the children get older they need to learn and understand that mom and dad were working together. Not just mom, Wife has the last word? NO. is a team work. men... you have to step up into the plate not let mom do everything is ur job too.
