I definitely used to produce even numbers of units when I was young, and had no idea what the counters were. I remember hating cav archers because they seemed to be useless (im guessing against skirms). I recall playing the Teuton campaign and having equal groups of units and struggling a lot.

When I Started on Age of Kings this was almost exactly how I'd play. I'd always assign villagers and army in groups of 5-10-20 depending on the resource😂

More food longer rather then same food faster new players tend to have a hard time multi tasking so not having to focus on food or switching to farms as early. Allows you to focus on a few other things before having to multi task again! Auto scout is after I find my second tc spot and bring in my deer! Once I basically have what I need I send it on its way. (I’ve never played ranked) very very new.

I found out a new bug today. I had 4 villagers garrisoned in a castle but it was telling me I had 3 idle villagers. Also was showing that I had 124/125 pop but wouldn't let me produce another unit as I was capped. Thanks DE :)

T90 still says 'yayo-men' for the Brit tech (should just sound like 'yo-men'). Effects of the tech: -All your foot archers become drug dealers. The nose candy makes them fire faster but less accurately. -Doesn't apply to skirms, they're straight-edge.

true lel players hate venison :D i used to lure boars later with skirms or archers so i usually ended up killing em or even losing 45gold in processs :D also advancing through ages if you havent clicked every available tech felt weird so building university was trap :D at least i knew to click ballistics first or murder holes and then ballistics if i was getting already destroyed by that time.

Auto scout should just be named "auto suicide by TC" since it pretty much always sends your scout directly under the enemy TC as quick as possible. Idk why they couldn't make the scout behave more like it was actually being controlled by an AI player, at least those typically avoid the TC once they spot it.

Pretty sure I'm like 400 elo..(Haven't played ranked in a year) watching is one thing, playing is another. You get so into certain aspects and forget so much else.. LIKE efficiency... defense, what counters what, upgrades, everything. Lowest I got was 30 elo, xD and highest of around 700. Auto scout might be bad and maybe you don't like the farm placement but letting any scout do it just brings everything in line and does not make the first scout be special for any reason. In circumstances where you don't start with a scout its also good for new players
