$20 vs $80 Buffet in Honolulu Hawaii

Aloha, Ridge... Just wanted to share a comment on a few things. I noticed at GEN BBQ that the grill plate was not rotated or changed by the server. Normally at most Korean places this grill plate is constantly changed. The meat including the Kalbi seemed thinner than thin. At the Hyatt, yes, the crab legs are the star, but they were iced and not hot. I once spoke to a manager at another buffet, and he told me that the reason that buffets serve the crab legs iced verses hot is because the crab is not consumed as much iced then if it were hot. Most buffets cannot keep up with the hot legs. Served cold the Buffet saves money and that would be the whole reason behind this. Thanks for sharing your episode... all in all it was great.

You have to try the crazy sauce to dip your non marinating meat at Gen and the pork cheek with the gree try salt is so yummy. I’ll will be in Hawaii on the 17th of feb and will try the Crème brûlée eating at your workplace hope to see you later

Why did u have to lie? Gens $20 buffet doesn't include those dinner items. That's like $40 rather. It's a small island. You didn't have be pretentious

Ridge, I see you like a little soy sauce with your wasabi and a little butter with the Tabasco!! 🥵😅 👍👏 Great video, who doesn’t love buffets! Because you love Tabasco so much you should take a trip to New Orleans for the food and drinks , and then visit the Tabasco factory at Avery Island.
