Outstanding video! That was exactly what was wrong with my driverside 2002 Silverado 1500 window! I actually wasted half an hour based on other videos trying to take the switch box apart, almost got it, then couldn't, snapped it back together and went on to this connector. The detail you show on how to fix it, and in just 4 minutes makes this an outstanding assistance. No way would I have ever figured this out, I probably would have bought a new regulator or motor or both!

What if my drivers window goes up just fine but to get it to go down I have to put the brown wire into the a spot and the blue wire into the M spot and I have to push the window up button for it to go down… I am at a loss here

Thanks, I'll have to check this on mine. My problem is I can hear a relay clicking, but the motor doesn't move. I guess it could be a fatigue break in the door wiring harness ... which I would have to "ring through" using my cheap multimeter on diode continuity mode (makes a tone when connected correctly). Though this tip is worth checking first because it's easier to do.

I think this coud be the solution to my problem I don't believe the regulator is bad because the window goes down fine and used to work when i held the plug in a little tighter. I'm going to give this a shot. Thanks for the video!

I've built engines and slid under cars on creepers balancing a transmission on my chest, painted, you name it. But with my fading eyesight, all of those different electrical plugs and fittings with their secret little tabs and snaps to pull or push make me wish the world would end.

So with my issue is on my 1999 sometimes it works going up sometimes doesn’t work going down whenever it wants to work I replaced brand new regulators and motors and brand new switches and does the same is this my issue?

I have the same problem, I bought the controls and regulator or little motor for the window and it still won't go up and down. I'll try this and see what happens. Thank you very much.

my switch clicks but the motor does not work. this is the issue?

Do you know anything about it still clicking and not going up..... I've straight hooked up the pigtail on the regulator to the battery and it works like that and reversed polarity to roll it down... Switched the switches and nothing still

Michael Barstad yeah something man.... Trying to figure out what to do next and we have it right where I hook it to the battery and reverse polarity and it rolls up and or down.

I have the same problem anyone know what it could be? Checked pig tails and they’re good and switched motor and still nothing my window only rolls down not up

So you’re gonna move the wire every time you need to roll it up/down. 🤦🏻‍♂️.
