Great build! I own a 2000 V6 and was wondering do you know of any bolt ons I can do to improve performance. I already put on a cold air intake and changed out the stock ignition coil to a msd 48,000 volt. I plan on dual exhaust one day for sure. I'm on a real tight budget so any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Very Nice! This is a production 2 bolt block correct? I did go the 4.3 stroker turbo route and built my own turbo kit. Best pass to date with the car was 7.23 @ 101mph on 15psi letting off the throttle a little due to nerves lol. I don't blame you for the swap. A lot of work to make my v6 fast.

+Jared Hughes no need to worry about the check engine light bud. when you do swaps like that its natural for it to be on because of the PC. you swapped it from FI to carburated so all the sensors that the PC normally reads on the FI setup is no longer there so it's gonna read a problem. at least I'm pretty sure that is the reason why. Great build though.

I do want to criticize one thing. Id get a different rear bumper. Mainly the V8 style that has the exhaust tip cut outs. I just could never enjoy looking at this style of mustangs that didn't have them. Other then that, sounds great and looks great. Paint appears to be FLAWLESS, though silver does hide a lot more than any other color

The hood not closing all the way would bother me personally. It would look a bit better with a very slight cowl so it can close with the carburetor, but it would take away the "aww man your car doesn't look tough" type thing :P but anyway your car sounds great and looks smooth great job on that

***** Actually I did change my mind, a 351w Dart block can be bored and stroked to 461ci, a lot better than the 460 block, lighter and more parts to choose from. As for the Modular motor it can indeed produce big numbers but with big boost that requires crazy fuel system and perfect tuning so things don't go down the oil pan!

Love your build dude! I'm actually debating on doing an efi or carb 5.0 swap in my 97 v6. I was wondering since your car also has a v6/4.6 k member did you have to swap it out for a 94/95 or did the engine just bolt right to the stock k member? also did you keep your a/c? if so did the stock lines work or did you have to get a/c lines from a v8 car? thanks

What kind of bell housing are you running? I just did the same swap and used a 164 tooth flywheel with the original V6 bell housing so I could run the 11” clutch and something is hitting and making a tapping noise. I had to shim the starter because it was too close but nothing on the starter is hitting.

I can't wait for your next video!! Great swap.that HP and sound.. I was going to do an engine swap myself but after I found out how much it would be to swap even for just a v8.. Im taking the easy way out and buying a 2012 gt ha. Let me know when you upload your new video, wish I can modify my car like that! Better than my plain bolt ons ha.

What do you have to do with the computer and all when you swap with a v8 and carb setup? I'm very curious. I've wanted to do this but I have no idea what problems will arise.

They whole car is basically an old school muscle car as far as the engine and fuel system goes.

Inspiring ! I have a Mustang of my own and was suggesting an engine swap. And also why did you not like the halo headlights ?

That's pretty good and what headers and exhaust did you use or could you use regular one for the v6

So what was your total price with motor and work? I know that question is a bit inappropriate but I have a v6 myself and was wondering if I could do something similar

hi nice mustang. i was thinking of doing a v8 swap on my 01 v6. just wondering why no fuel injection set up for the price? 11k is alot of money. thanks

I wanted something different.. $11k is not really that much for a 500HP built from bare block, blue printed and balanced. Then swapped and installed..including exhaust and etc..

Why did you pick a 347? Why not build a mod motor, I personally would have built a 4.6 litre
