Don't go in water with that cold air intake. Lol you'll bend a connecting arm when you fill your motor with water.

Factory air box is better, if you go in water you will fill the engine with water for sure. They Factory box already gets cold air, as it is scooping its air ahead of the radiator. A paper filter won't allow water to pass through it. There's no maintenance with a paper filter.

i have had it installed for around 8 months the kit i got was pretty nice fan still works really good, would recommend wiring it to a switched 12v so it turns on as soon as u start the jeep, u will need a different power steering pump and pressure line, let me know if u have more questions

You don’t need ceramic pads or slotted drilled rotors at all. That was a major waste of money. Everything else is cool though. Needs some new rims too.

if your jeep has a double cardan driveshaft u dont need to modify, check online for the different kinds and compare, rezepa will need to be changed out for a 4 inch kit

I have same jeep. It overheats mainly when im towing. It always runs a little too warm. I have the mechanical fan and a electric fan. Wondering if my mechanical fan is failing. Do you think I should remove the mechanical fan since it has an electric fan also. Could they be working against each other. I bought it this way. It also has the 4.7 v8. You got a nice rig btw.

it runs cooler and is more reliable then the old setup, gas mileage is about the same good upgrade for towing

I'm in Uganda and there is a scarcity oj jeep parts. Mine is a wj 2000 grand Cherokee, and my problem is that it over heats. It's system though was changed to full time fan cooling system but again it over heats. Thanks

this jeep came with a double cardan front driveshaft so i didnt have to do anything... if you have the other type of driveshaft you will have to change it out to a double cardan

That's not an actual cold air intake. Those kinds of intakes just suck in hot air off the engine, hurting power and mpg (not that mpg matters when your running 32's lol). It's a jack ass move by the manufacturers to mark those as something they are not. True cold airs will run out under the front bumper or into the fender, anywhere they will not suck in heat off the engine.

honestly its just for looks , you have to cut a huge hole in the fender to actually use and its not a very good fit for the parts they give but it looks cool for 100$
