Very cool n informative video. I own a 2001 Subaru outback and I'm afraid I'd need to replace the timing belt, I'm not a pro like you, but your video makes me feel that I can do it! Thank you... Oh the bloopers at the end killed me!😂

What’s the exact kit your purchased on rockauto? Fantastic video by the way, laughed at all the expletives and banter! Earned a sub!

I love this guy he tells it like it is> not like all the others that are so complicated to understand and make it so hard to follow the instuctions. I love that he is professional and down to earth with all the lingo which is a plus in otherword I understood everything he said and how to do this job way to go. One of the best I have seen with clear cut instuctions with no bull shit in between meaning all the others DO not explain it as well as this guy did Thank you!

I did a timing belt and water pump on 98 forster. I vaccum bled it and manually with a funnel kit, it keeps over heating. I have not did any head gasket tests yet. There is 141k miles. oil does not have coolant and coolant does not have oil in it. Theres no white smoke coming out of the tail pipe. Have you run into that issue or have any advice?

I don’t know if you agree a genuine Subaru thermostat should be used
