2002 Chevy Impala P0440, P0480, P0481 easy fix !

The videos shows a quick diagnostic on how to fix the above listed codes pertaining to the cooling fans usually throwing a check engine light. Same thing happened to my mother impala but the fuse keeps popping and the engine light keeps coming on n she needs to get her car inspected. Idk why it keeps popping. One fan work but the other doesnt and they are brand new radiator fans. We replaced the fans thinking that's what it was but it didnt fix it

Not blowing any cold air. Also when the cooling fans turn on should they both turn on or just one?

Samantha Gracias the cooling fan should turn on only when your engine needs it that’s the huge sound of air you hear from cars idling on summer days. As far as your ac I would check your pressure on a guage and your fuses and your ac compressor to see if it’s turning on an off. Fixing this issue can help because it will keep the engine cooler.

Its the fuse on mine but what if it gets getting blown?

Are both fans always suppose to kick on at the same time or is there a only one fan that kicks on and when the car heats up, then second fan kicks on?

jmoney262 yes only one fan should be running, then as the car gets hotter the second fan will turn on you’ll hear the fan running.
