I just picked up a like new 2002 Cr250r. It runs great and yes the carb overflow leaks. I have British cars with bad needles. They have the same rubber tip. Replaced the needle and back in business

My 98 kx250 leaked just like yours i just bent the float tab a tiny bit to make sure the needle closed and it worked im pretty sure thats all you had to do good video's sir and nice bikes

I can’t remember if I showed adjusting the float hight or not in that video, but it might have been edited for time. I honestly tried Every trick in the book. Blowing air in the fuel inlet to try and break anything free. But I had to edit the video down. Thanks for watching and for the comment. I’m glad you liked the video! Well I have an 03 Cr125r and my float seems to just flop other than stay in place… any tips to fix that? Or do I need a new float in the carb?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2XLZauLjbFlbZY I think this video might show you better. im not fully understanding the "just flopping" it should "flop" if there is no fuel in the bowl to hold it up.. and when it is held up the float pushes the "float needle" into the seat.. stopping fuel from filling or over filling the bowl. if the needle is not closing the seat your bike will leak out the overflow on the bottom of the bowl. this can also happen if your float is no good and it sinks and doesn't float. i think the other video will help you
