Hey thanks! I appreciate the support! Thise 6.0s are fast! A friend of mine has one tweaked out and I'm a little jealous. Though I think gas is a better choice for offroading. Not many people on the trail with cans full of diesel.

What kind of work have you done to the motor. I've got a stock v10 with enough battle scars i think your truck would pick some up by looking at it. How clean it is is amazing

There are 10 2005 Ford Excursion's that sat in an under ground garage in Dubai since 2005, 8 of them have the 6.8 L Triton V10 while 2 of them have the 6.0 L Powerstroke V8

Yaay! You finally made the video!! Man I do have alot of questions still but I don't want to ramble on and on. I am definitely curious about how you restored and removed rust from the frame. I bet that was a huge undertaking! I have an excursion myself and it has alot of surface rust on it as well... Your suspension setup is super impressive! I am debating on going the same route or pulling out the suspension from a 07+ f250 to get the axles and brakes as well as the front coil setup. . I hope others chime in too bc there is alot to talk about your truck. Side note I can't believe those were 40in tires bc the lift honestly makes them look like 35in! Not a bad thing I'm just shocked tho! You must have a ton of lift on your suspension. Very impressive sir 👍👏

I am sorry it took so long. They sanded the frame down and repainted it with several coats of Matte Black

Awesome build! I really like the front suspension. I have an03 excursion with a Cummins common rail. I love the truck but front end rides real rough. I would really like to do a coil over swap. Keep up the good work and videos.

The King steering stabilizer shock. Do they sell it for stock size Excursion ? What are the tires you are running ?

@@excursionoffroad I didn’t know they do lift installs. I want to convert from leaf to coil in the front as well. I work in Industry and live in Whittier. I want my Ex to be able to go out further and camp in remote spots but still ride smooth.

They fully fab custom Pre-runners, manufacture the Atlas Leaf Springs which are on par if not better than Deaver. If you are doing a tame build or something extreme, they can help guide you.

Great video! Great EX!!!! Awesome bumper. How do you like the TrueTracs? I have a 99 Super Duty kzbin.info/www/bejne/pX2Qnnh-ZruNfac and run Bilstein shocks. Did you do a Dana 60 front axle swap running those 40s. I broke my front pinion on my Dana 50 wheeling with my 40s and had to upgrade. I'm running a 380/75R20 now (42x15R20).
