2002 Golden Jubilee: Queen Elizabeth II in Ottawa

On October 13 and 14, 2002, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visit Ottawa on the occasion of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. The Jubilee marks the Queen’s 50th anniversary on the throne. The Queen and Prince Philip visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and attend events at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and Rideau Hall. Prime Minister Jean Chrétien and Governor General Adrienne Clarkson are among the attendees.
