Great video!?!? He didn’t even show how he unplugged the fuel filter from those two cables on top. He also didn’t how he removed the white plastic ring. Almost a useless video if it wasn’t for showing the bolts under the vehicle.

If you have a transmission jack it makes this job so much easier. Especially if your fuel pump wanted to go out right after you filled up 😥

You skipped the most crucial part... how to disconnect the fuel lines most people are gonna break them, good video though.
@Sellthoseflippingcars2 жыл бұрын
I agree James, I need to get a go pro or something that is hands free so I can show getting the fuel lines off. It definitely takes 2 hands and patience. Thanks for watching!
@brandonc.650018 күн бұрын
Did you take all the lines off or just the fuel inlet line? The lines running from the gas cap
@Sellthoseflippingcars17 күн бұрын
I removed the gas inlet hose when lowering, other lines you can disconnect from fuel pump, also don't forget to double check for any harnesses connected.

Awesome video bud. I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee 4x4 v8 4.7. Im having a few issues with it and have some questions. My 02 sensor fuse started to blow after i replaced the original blown fuse. The vehicel started running better, then all of a sudden the vehicel just started shutting of. As if it wasn't getting fuel in the motor. When i got it home it started bogging out again and shimmering. I checked the o2 fuse and it was blown again. I went through 4 fuses and figured it has to be something in the relay or i need to replace my sensors. Ive had nothing but problems since a mechanic shop replaced my motor instead of just the timing chain.
@Sellthoseflippingcars2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, I am glad you enjoyed the video!!! Sorry to hear about your problems you are having. Yeah sometimes replacing the motor doesn't solve the problem it just gives you another cars problems. I have that same problem right now on a 2007 Chevy Malibu, I replaced the engine, only to have a blown head gasket from the other car...... With your problem, you have a short in your wires. Trace your wires back and check the insulation on the wire. Somewhere your wires are contacting a ground and blowing the fuse. Hope this helps!!! You will be in and out pretty quick, Don't forget to use a jack to lower the fuel tank. Easy replacement, shops just charge a high rate because no one likes lowering the fuel tank. You got this!

So I only needed to see one thing and that was how the seal reseats around the fuel pump where it meets the tank... and you skipped that.

@mackincheez8647 Жыл бұрын
Yea, I think so
@Sellthoseflippingcars Жыл бұрын
if it was working before the fuel pump was changed then you are looking at a bad sensor on the fuel pump that you got. I would also double check the connector at the fuel pump
