Good way to start my school year in 2002, my favorite driver wins and things start out well. I began my sophomore year of high school, was not the best year but I grew a lot from it.
I remember after this race thinking Gordon was going to win the title down the stretch then he crashed his car in practice and the engine blew on the backup car in the race next week. Then he never won another title :(

Yep Nascar screwed him over with the ridiculous chae format! Would have won AT LEAST 2 more titles IMO if nascar left well enough alone
@nativemartian8 ай бұрын
@@FeartheCyr611actually he would have 3 more. Would have been a 7 time champ

This is how you do a rain delay and kept your eyes in the tv by keeping it live. Today they would show an old crappy race.

I think what happen was Kingcue uploaded this same race but spitted into parts last year because of YT's limit of the max file size or max video video length, rainbowwarriors probably copied the finish of the race part and re-uploaded it to his YT page.

Now THIS is how you do rain delays. Not just throw it to some old race that loses everyone's interest.

At around 3:25:35 I find it hysterical that as often Wally liked to bust Alan’s balls, Wally getting scolded here for not being correct is very satisfyingly-justified!

Rusty must have dropped a cylinder or something at the end of this race. His speeds were bad slow.. Even compared to those who didn't take tires as well.
