2002 W220 S430 Mercedes-Benz, Bypass your A/C compressor completely with a shorter serpentine belt.

Here's another way to completly bypass your ac compressor, if it's noisey with a bad clutch or simply just not working. You don't have to shave your Tensioner nut in any way with this size serpentine belt. You're welcome.

Last year changed the compressor ( bad pulley ) cost arm and a leg , ac never worked this time again , ordered a ac unit ... wrong pulley 😡 now what ? Thats really some fantastic information. I've noticed a lot of people, including myself, who have had issues with the pully on the AC compressor failing and thought you had to replace the AC compressor with a new unit to get back up running again. That stupid pulley is impossible to remove, I have built a special tool at CNC but still I cannot turn that shapeless screw like yellow... after 1 month of research and unsuccessful tries, now I had it bypass, on my way to find someone to take that pulley off...

Nope. The air conditioner is only a luxury to stay cool inside the cabin when you're hot in the summer. Bypassing the AC won't hurt your car at all.

Bought it at O'rileys or Auto Zone. If you give them the actual number of the belt in the video..... they'll get you it or one the same size. Hope this helps, let me know. I

Just give them the exact number of the belt in the video. I believe the car it came off was my "2001 Lincoln Town & Country" or my 1997 BMW Z3.
