that was alot of pretty to see anti sieze on the lower strut bolt made it so easy

Very nicely done. Your option to fast forward some parts in the video helped to lower the total overhead and resulted in a compressed version yet still showed how it is done DIY. Moreover, the use of air tools combined with the use of pry bars made it easier to finish the job. Well done.

You made this look too easy 😂 I keep telling myself that it isn't this easy but it's making me want to try it myself haha. I doubt I'd be able to man handle those struts though
@ValleyMobileAutomotive3 ай бұрын
@@kristen23231 If you do tackle this invest in a good breaker bar! The bottom bolts are tight. But you can do it 👍

what struts are these? do you have a link by any chance?.
@ValleyMobileAutomotive3 жыл бұрын
These are O'Reilly house brand struts. I use them a lot on many vehicles. I've had mostly good results with them but a few times I've noticed defects that needed to be exchanged for new ones.

Hey there, we’re converting from airbags in, so don’t have the old struts to compare to maybe a silly question, but which strut so you’re saying is larger in diameter , the front or the back
@ValleyMobileAutomotive Жыл бұрын
Typically the front will be bigger because they hold more weight than the rear.

Can just the shock be replaced w/o removing the spring?
@ValleyMobileAutomotive2 жыл бұрын
No, the spring is part of the strut assembly. They have to be removed together.

2:53 all that play up and you move the camera out of the way and not show it come out?! I feel robbed. You took something from me there. That was disappointing.
