Plastx is a great one step process to clear headlights. Have used it on several vehicles and within 10 minutes I’ve improved clarity of the headlights. You can also do it by hand but takes some elbow grease. Definitely worth trying.

check the wires going to the fuse itself, sounds like one is loose. Check to make sure power is going to the fuse box then trace back from there.

No you need to check the operation of your alternator. The dashboard lights and the radio are the first things to go out when your alternator is failing.

You can check it but in most cases if a fuse has a bad link the voltage passing through will blow the fuse. So check your fuse first then the cables

My headlights will not turn on bright I flip the switch and it doesn't even make the clicking noise so I was told it was a relay that went out and needs to be replaced. Is that what happens when I relay needs replaced my damn lights only work and my bright lights do not and it's got the bulbs I've done checked thank you so much I have many more questions on my 03 Expedition this is the first one LOL

03 expedition Eddie Bauer. And my automatic lights all of a sudden went out. And now it also turns off on me after awhile of being on. My mechanic just says it's the fuel pump going out. But I feel it may be a fuse. Idk what to look for before spending $$

If it was a fuse it would be all or nothing. Fuses do not somewhat break and sometimes work. Your automatic lights are operated by a solar sensor on the dash and by the headlight selector being put into the automatic position. I would start there on the headlights.....on the vehicle shutting on that is another story. Again if it was a fuse it would be all or nothing. So with knowing that I would start at your fuse pump relay. You will find this under the hood at your PCM(Where all the rest of your fuses are at) Easy way to see if it is the relay.....switch that relay out with a relay that you know is working like your wiper relay. If you have the means to check the fuel pressure that you are receiving at your fuel rail then that will cut right to the point. What engine do you have in your Expedition? I can find out the fuel pressure you are supposed to be at for you.

ya im at that not angry but frustrated stage. First, I thought the 2003 box would be like the 2004. I've been at this for an hour off and on looking for the 2004 expedition A/c clutch relay. I guess its time to find a schematic and follow the wires

Sorry you are having such a hard time locating your AC Clutch relay, try this position. AC clutch relay is out in the 'auxiliary relay box 1'. Left (driver side) inner fender area forward towards the radiator support.. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!

Have you checked the fuel pressure you are getting at the fuel rail? Also are you getting spark?

Is there a separate fuse or relay for HVAC control unit. Heat and air both stopped working. No lights on the control unit.

Yes, in the video I gave a list of the fuses. Your AC clutch will be a fuse, and your blower motor has it's own fuse as well. If it is not blowing at all, I would look at the blower motor first and see if you are getting power to it.

You would have to put the two side-by-side and compare. Depending on the trim level as well of the vehicle that the fuse box came off of. It might have some fuses that your vehicle does not. That would be the only difference that I could think of. But to be certain make sure you put the two fuse boxes side-by-side in compare. Buy compare I am talking about the mounting brackets for the fuse box

Tracy he could actually be two different things with your Expedition. It could be your neutral safety switch not engaging so the vehicle does not think you are pressing on the brake pedal, so it will not release the vehicle from the park gear. The other option is that could be your security system is engaged.

They might be talking about your PCMS fuse and that would be located under the hood. Check The Operators manual for exact location of fuse spot. But it will be found at the fuse box I showed in the video.

That is where I would start looking. Usually it is just a blown fuse. Make sure to use the same amperage fuse as you take out.

You have a small auxiliary Fuse Box under the hood. All of your 4x4 fuses and relays are located in this auxiliary fuse Box. It should be located around the same area as hear other fuse Box that is under your hood.

But now that I write that, since there is no such location (38 25), it must refer to both locations, that is, both fuses to check, #38 and #25. Still, a diagram would be helpful.
