Got the customer coming in today that you sent my way. Someone fried his cluster trying to fix it, so we did transfer all the info from the old one into another one. Thank you!

@@HETPEZB That was fast. The first person to try to fix it was from the same state as me. I believe the VFD power supply transistors shorted and probably over heated the transformer from constant current draw from shorted transistors.

I did see quite a few "reworked" components, if you know what I mean :) And one of the transistors was actually a half that left from the whole transistor. I didn't try to dig deeper, just a quick observation.

Are those resistors you resoldered the main ones to redo? Can't find any information on that part of the repair anywhere

It’s better to redo all resistors on the board. I’ve seen several other being with a fractured solder joint connections. But at least the ones showed.
