#2004Mach1 Introduction, here is a mostly original 2004 Mach 1 joining the Mustang Connection stable in 2017. Stay tuned an d follow along as this Pony comes back to as new condition or ? Time will tell what will happen to this latest addition to the fold.
This is one of just over 7000 Mach 1's built for 2004 and is one of 787 with the 5 speed manual's finished in Dark Shadow Gray.

Happy New Year! Great car.....I think the '03/'04 Mach 1 is very overlooked. A little detailing will have that one looking superb. Oh, and swap the 40th Anniversary pony badges over on the fenders.....they're pointing the wrong way......should be heading to the front of the car lol :)

Hey Kenny, Ya it's just the shaker, I think they put a K and N filter in it and left out a spacer or something. Have to take a closer look. It needs a little cosmetic TLC. Happy New Year!

Hey Rich! Bro. Dave here, you know I currently have a Satin Silver 03 Ford Mustang GT/Cobra Project car. So far the only thing I've done to it is put a 03 Brand New Compete 03 Cobra (with chrome Running Horse) front clip which include Fenders, Hood, Bumper/Spoiler, New Headlamps and Fog Lamps as well. So what are you plans for your new 04 Mach 1 Project?...Ok Happy New Year! (2017) and God Bless!

The previous owner had attempted to put a cold air kit on it and never put the shaker assembly back together properly. I finally got it straightened out but it was sold last year.

Not sure just yet, more than likely just cosmetic clean up, enjoy it and move it along. It seems these hold their value better when left unmodified. Happy New Year!

Actually the 03/04 Mach has an aluminum block and the 03/04 SVT Cobra has an iron block. I believe you said both had aluminum blocks but that's incorrect. The aluminum heads (as you mentioned) are the same on both models.

I'm looking forward to this one! Is it possible to get the investment cost as you go along? I know there is a fluctuation of course, but it would be interesting to find out what we can look to invest in these cars.

Thanks and always appreciate the comments. Not sure I am gonna do much beyond cosmetics but I will try and give the costs too. I usually end up using wholesale accounts or contacts for labor I don't do myself so hard to say if it will be much of a help.

not even close to the same motor that was used in the cobra ????? Cobra did not have an aluminum block and the Cobra had all forged internals , Mach 1 did not !! cobra also had better heads and cams !!! these 2 motors only share displacement nothing else !!!

For the record the heads are the same in termi and Mach 1....
