I bet this car is an absolute turd till 4400 rpm then light switch to monster.

@@yamahaSHO do you also have a 3 or 4 port boost control solenoid for boost control? I hear your wastegate fluttering every time you get into boost?

Probably a 3-port. This is a customer car.

@@bm717252 reason for the “wastegate flutter” is UEL headers on the Subarus! Gives them a pulsing sound! If you have a minute look up Subaru EL headers EWG and UEL headers EWG! You’ll hear a massive difference 😁

When does boost come in?
@yamahaSHO Жыл бұрын
It's been a couple years since I tuned this car. Looking at the dyno graph, it was probably around 5,000 RPM to hit full boost.

They are going to 9500 now. They have so much data now from 7k-12k now from testing that it’s totally doable with the right turbo and tune. With valve springs and cams to use that rpm up there. Stoc cams are pointless going that high in rpm.

@@HeidiFegles My 2L used to rev to 8/8500 but I'm playing safe with stock rev limit on my new 2.5 (cams, heads, turbo, bearings, etc). Plenty of power and great for a daily driver. Cams, heads and the 2.5L bottom end make a huge difference over the revvy 2L.
