Good video, lighting was fine. A little shaky, but you did a great job for one person...I am doing this job on Tuesday. Thanks for posting it.

Hey, this was very helpful, but im having a hard time because I put on new brakes but the the brake pedal has to go all the way down to the floor. For the car to really stop so how do I go about getting the brakes hard to where they support to be

well first make sure there is no leaks in the braking system. and make sure there is no air in the system either. pump the brake few times first to make sure the piston has set itself back in. if there is leaks or air in system that can be the cause of the pedal going to the floor

Sounds like you introduced air in your braking system. Bleed them out. The bleeder is the little valve next to caliper bolts.

Thanks for the video. One negative though. Did you crawl under the car with it only supported by the jack? Couldn't tell from the video. A huge no-no if you did. ignore me if you didn't.

@@motorsportfactory Thanks for clearing that up. It wasn't obvious in the video. Cheers.

@@justabloke6981 yeah even with this scissor jack its fine. as long as the threading of the screw is in good shape there is nothing to really worry bout. but i do use the jack stand for back up. yes a lot of times you may or may not see the stands cause im just trying to get to the point of the video

didnt have a floor jack at the time . but i dont see how a scissor jack is bad

@@motorsportfactory wrote that before reading other comments that you had jackstands. at least 2 I hope. The problem with these scissors is not usually strength, but stability at both ends. emergency use only in my book and only for changing tires not getting underneath

@@reallyhappenings5597 personaly ive never had a problem using them. but i dont use it all the time. yes i did have some jackstands at one point ( not in the video) . nor did i have it lifted on both sides at the same time. i just did one side.
