Tune Up | 04 XC90 2.9L

hey guys i did a tune up vid. not just spark plugs
but also oil change,air filter,fuel filter and cabin filter.
i couldn't finish the cabin filter part do to parts on the car missing.
but hope this video helps you guys do your own maintenance.

I know this is an old video but for anyone seeing this the manual calls for 7 quarts not 6.5. Careful not to starve those turbos

i think the manual i had or soemthing i read was 6.5 but i could have just said it wrong and miss spoke on the capacity on it. but thanks for bringing this up

no i havent done it yet. hopefully one day i am able to when i come across the car. the neighbor sold his car so im not able to do it .

You should soak the new filter in clean oil, otherwise the engine is running without oil pressure because the filter is soaking up the new oil, other wise good work.

Hi. I'm a new Volvo owner and I have the exact same car , I wanted to ask if you the name of the sensor or filter that is there were you pulled the timing belt cover , thanks.

@@motorsportfactory is at 23.35 min. is at the 9 Oclock position right next to the timing belt, I been told that is a sensor or filter that gets messed up when gas is bad or dirty.

What size oil filter wrench was it?

hey there sorry for late response. i think it was a 36 flute filter wrench. check with local auto parts store im sure they can help . sorry i should have mentioned the tool size. i will in future videos
