2005 Honda Accord - P0341 VTEC Solenoid??

I own 3 hondas, been pretty good cars, overall, had problem with fuel pump relay, in one, when you turn on key, couldn't hear fuel pump energizing, so pulled fuse panel, and couldn't hear fuel pump relay, clicking, pulled it out and tested on work bench, the magnetic copper wind, was messed up, wouldn't open and close circut!! You got a great channel, I love learning new stuff, we have to ,or will fall behind!!

Hi, I see that coil trigger is not always TDC, seems like coil trigger is earlier before reaching TDC, is that right.. I assume if it fire before TDC i think it is called advanced... pls advise. Also how did you find TDC on crank signal, i see two pulses on TDC, when i start my cursor i dont know whether i should start with first pulse on double pulse or second pulse.. any insight will be helpful

I do, I don't know if you have to I just do it because the known goods that I get usually say unplugged.

Seeing so many people using the topdon scanners. Are they better than autel in your opinion?

I am a big fan of TopDon I feel they are trying harder to make there customers happy. It uses the same type of software as Launch that I always preferred to the Autel. To be fair I only have the IM608, Km100 and the IT600 tpms tool, I never had a maxi sys tool but from what I see in videos I would prefer TopDon.

@@MMAunderbelly I think it's accurate to the extent that it shows what CAN has what modules but it does not show accurately how the modules are talking to each other like GM how its passing thru each module and Chrysler that it has a star connector etc. You still need a diagram but it helps so much just to see how the whole high speed is off line...

@@advancedleveldiagnostics Was this actually the case? My 2007 Civic Type-R 120k miles has P0341 fault code right now as well and all the Honda pros say it's the timing chain stretched. Local dealer says that the chain never needs to be changed lol. I tend to believe the Honda pros in this case.

What a sad neglected car. That paint, those headlights, missing washer fluid reservoir cap, overall filthy engine. This one needs a lot of TLC.
