No, i actually ended up finding out that my motor mount wasn't what was wrong. I actually blew though the actual frame of my truck. I then lifted the motor up to bring the motor mount back to somewhat of correct position and had it welded back in place. My motor mount was actually ok. If there is anything else i can help you with, please let me know. I have done a lot of work on my truck and have broken and fixed an even more amount.

My friend has the 2004 Tacoma with the 3.4 and locking diff. He is getting vibration when stopping 15-0 MPH and same vibration accelerating from 0-15MPH. Went through all suspension components and they are mint. (today we flushing both diffs, transfer case, transmission, coolant, did shocks and brakes.) coupler bearing going to driveshaft? vibration issues are very common in the forums. He does off road a lot.

Hey man are the mounts made of metal or is there rubber in them? And can you tell if the need replacing without taking them off?

Both, it has metal and a rubbery type material. Mine was obviously bent. If its bent at all or your motor is tilted, it needs replacement. If your motor isnt shifted at all or you are not having any issues, then you probably dont need to replace them. It should be pretty obvious if they need to be replaced. After this video, I actually noticed the motor mound actually smashed into my frame requiring a reweld on my frame rail, so take an extra look there too

@@motoxx212 my 2008 tacoma makes a clunk when I accelerate at high speeds . I took the right mount off yesterday but it looks ok. I replaced the Tranny mount. Drivers engine mount looks ok. Any ideas what it could be. Carrier bearing, shaft, all look ok.
