Does the wire that gets contact 409 relay is 12v constant ? Mine is blue it has no power

409 is a fuel pump relay though?

Is power supply relay 109 should be under the dash too? I have seen videos that some relays are under the hood. How to find out ? I went to mechanic for my 2005 vw beetle. He listed at least 5-6 things which would cost me thousands of dollars and said start with relay first, and then we will try this and that. I’m tired of this mechanics and want to give a try. Can anyone have an idea where 109 could be located ? I couldn’t find in the manual.

Question! My 2008 Beetle convertible won't crank as of today. Got stranded at the doctors office. It doesn't even make a click noise when we turn the key. All the lights come on just like they should if you just turn the key to power position but as soon as you turn it, there is no crank, and no noise and then the ignition locks so you have to turn it off and back on again to try again. Any ideas of what it might be?? Thank you!

can the fuel pump relay be tested to see if good or bad?

Well you can test it but results are not a 100 percent. Remember relays has contact points that can test good and still be bad.

Hey, I have spark, no fuel. I spayed a quick start fluid, engine starts, then shuts off of course. . I changed the fuel pump relay, no power at fuel pump plug/connector.

Sorry, code for one of the coil packs, p0354. No codes that reference the fuel system. I am at a standstill.

Any idea as to why my '06 beetle won't start after a battery change the key immobilizer symbol is not flashing I have tried jumping the car I have the new battery obviously incorrectly and the terminals well seated but no luck

@@MaicSalazarDiagnostics no sir I've connected the battery the correct way, my interior lights turn on and my car bings when the door is open.radio works ect but it won't crank over or do anything when I turn the key . The immobilizer light is not lit up and I've tried a unchipped key to verify that the immobilizer isn't the issue as the light flashes when I try a unchipped key but does not flash with my programmed key so I can confirm it's not the immobilizer. Everything worked fine until the battery swap ,when swapping the battery no current of anykind was left to the beetle I have a 2.5l if that makes any difference?

Have question for you my wife we to store last night came home , then in am went to get in car to go to work , and it seemed to have plenty of battery power lights come on windows power up and down I hook up jumper cables and still nothing, no cranking at all turn key instrument panel all lights up but not , turn key it’s silent nothing , bought new battery and still nothing turn key no cranking at all just silent , would it be this same problem, replace relay switch , fuse what ever it is 409

It is hard to say. It can be numerous things. Starter, relays, fuses, cables, modules! It needs to be diagnose

If your car won't crank it might be the relay, it can be numerous things! If your car doesn't start then no!!

My 2014 Jetta 2.0 will run just fine and every 4 days this happens….. it start just fine…. After driving it I stop at the store, come out and crank no start….. here is the weird part. I let it sit for an hour and good to go for another 3-4 days…. Then it does it again. No check engine lights or codes…. I’ve replaced the starter, crank position sensor. I’m stuck guys what can it be please help!!!!!!!!

This is the EXACT issue I'm having with my '03 beetle sport 1.8 L 5 spd Turbo. Does it sometimes make a high pitch whine/grinding noise right when you release the key after startup? Let me know if you find a solution or any info please

jumpstart the car and drive it around for a while - if the battery is still good once it gets some juice you'll have no issues.
