I have an 06. 7 speaker system. Going to do the same upgrade as you. When you hooked amp up, did it amplify the stock door speakers and tweeters as well? Any issues? Could the stock speakers handle it? Thanks

Hey. Thanks for the video! I have a 2013 with factory 6 speakers and sub. Want to add a 5-ch. amp (XD700/5v2) and a JL Stealth Box while retaining the factory head unit / Nav. Can I follow this same procedure using a 4-ch LOC and would I just disconnect the factory sub from the back of the head unit and connect the Stealth box directly to the amp? While you have the dash out, it is a good idea to replace all of the junky expensive Honda light bulbs with LED bulbs.

What bulbs are you talking about? All the interior light bulbs in the car have nothing to do with the dash. Just wondering what bulbs you’re talking about

@@AwesomeMan2696 every one of the buttons on the dashboard has a little bitty light inside of it. I replaced all of the incandescent light bulbs that came with the truck with the same size LED bulbs.

How did you know the remote turn on wire was the yellow/red one? I'm doing an install on a 2012 Pilot and am looking for a place to put the remote wire.

Did that model have a stock sub? Wondering if you disconnected or is it still in use.

Nope, it wasn't equipped with one. Your choice - you can leave it plugged in or disconnect.

How would you go about putting an amp to factory sub with aftermarket radio since you loose sub when you put aftermarket radio???
