In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2006 Dodge Magnum RT. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

It was a shame when Dodge discontinued the Magnum, because it was such a good car. I hope someday Dodge will bring back the Magnum and make a Hellcat version of, because if they did, it would be the fastest wagon on the planet. The reason why I think Dodge discontinued the Magnum is because, apparently Americans hate wagons (Yeah, what's wrong with them?. They're probably into Minivans and Crossover SUVs. However, unlike Americans, us Canadians love station wagons).

From Ontario Canada. Looking to buy a Magnum this month actually! Watching reviews of them and what not. The attractive part of the Magnum is it shares a lot of mechanical similarities with the Charger. Gotta think about them replacement part costs haha. I believe that's what happened, Wagons weren't popular and switched to crossover. I was under the understanding, from my experience, is that the Dodge Calibers "replaced" the Magnums. Not saying that's true or anything, but it seemed as if the race to be compact and fuel efficient left the Magnum behind due to the large frame and engine size. They compacted the Magnum and threw a 4 banger in it to convince the Caliber. I am in a toss up though. I dont know whether to get the 3.5 Magnum, or the 5.7 Magnum. Juggling Power, Fuel Economy, and Insurance Premiums.

The Magnum was in fact built in Canada in Brampton, Ontario; where the Charger, Challenger and 300 are still built. Canadians build pretty darn good cars anyway.

I bought this exact same car, back in 2006. It's still in my garage. R/T 5.7 325 HP. 96000 miles, original brake pads. Helluva Vehicle.

I own a 2006 R/T AWD (I live in the Northeast US) and I absolutely love it. The interior is on par with similarly priced vehicles from that era, but the driving experience, in my opinion, is much better than almost anything in its class. I forgot how quiet the Hemi's stock idle is, mostly because mine has had a Flowmaster AT2 kit on it since day one. If you want a full posh driving experience, spend $20k more on a MB or BMW. If you want a real muscle car, buy one of these (or a Charger R/T & 300C). I opted for the station wagon (a term I miss dearly in the automotive lexicon) because I have 2 little kids, and that comes along with tons of shit to carry wherever we go. I was able to fit 4 new tires in the cargo area without dropping the seats (or even removing my cargo cover), saving my interior from abuse, and actually shocking my tire guy...lol. As far as MPG is concerned, I average about 13 around town, and can do 20+ if I really focus on not putting my foot in it (Cruise Control is a Hemi owner's best friend). Relatively low MPG is a trade-off I am more than willing to make in order to spend my commute in a vehicle I actually enjoy driving. In closing, MOPAR FTW!

Yknow, it's funny, I grew up with my dad driving an 07 Magnum R/T... same color as the one in the video. And even though we went through 3 transmissions on it, I loved that car to death... now 10 years later I own a 2011 Charger AWD R/T... I love Dodge and seeing this car brings back awesome memories... I wish Dodge would bring back the Magnums...

This one is a 2005. In 2006 the RT badge on the back hatch changed to R/T. Also the HEMI badge on the right and left front fenders had a chrome line under it in 2005. In 2006 it was changed.

when purchasing this wagon get a tuner,cold air intake,upgraded exhaust. also the bolts for/driveshaft to differential. also get the upgraded shift selector/assembly^ when the plastic deal under there breaks you need to know how to patch or be stuck....

My son has one just like it and he loves it but he has changed some things like the exhaust ,KN filters and chip his sounds much better and is very fast .We built fiberglass speakers that fit in the back pockets by the trunk .

Yup, just like my dad's magnum. The only difference between the two is that ours has sirius satellite radio and a moonroof. But this magnum was in red, and (At least when we went to buy ours) Dodge charges an extra $1000 for the color red. These things are great for pissing off a ricer honda civic. Have a radio? Mines louder Have a fartcan? My car is faster Good video kyle, its kind of weird seeing you tour a car where you know exactly where and what everything is.
