Thank you so much for posting this!! My kid just ran over a mailbox and cracked off a piece of her bumper cover and it ripped out the (still attached to bumper cover) fender liner. So now I can use your video attempt some re-assembly.

That almost what happened to this car, but a friend pulled too far up on those cement parking blocks in the front of a spot, backed up and ripped the under splash guard and a piece of the fender with it.

@@nukem384that’s what happened to mine too. I’m getting ready to go get some clips but I wasn’t sure how many it took. So the very first picture of your video is exactly what I needed. Thank you sir.

The engine splash guard at 0:15 I'd the piece right there shown attached to the entire splash guard that goes under the engine? I seem to bee missing those on both side but rest of engine splash guard seem to he there still, my wheel liners both ripped off while driving, I think thos sides got ripped off. Please advise
@nukem3843 жыл бұрын
You're in luck because at the same time of this video, I also did a tutorial on that splash guard as well. But to answer your question, yes, those pieces are connected to the under side of the engine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJLUep-dn6yCaM0

I think you should be fine as long as you order the set of clips in the description. Those are going to be unusable if the liner was ripped out. I can't tell you since I'm not there, but I would think everything else should be ok.

Can you explain the link for the tapping clip? If I buy the 'multiple size clips' set do I also have to buy some of the 'tapping clip - for bottom portion of the liner'? Or does the set have all I would need? Thank you!
@nukem3842 жыл бұрын
You need to buy the tapping clips separately from the "multiple sized clips" link. The tapping clips are special and don't come in those general clip packages. So 2 links you need to click from the description :D
@timothybrady93022 жыл бұрын

Do you think I can use just one box of the clips you linked for two fender liners? Or should I buy two? Also which clips size do I use?

1 is enough. I used it on this fender liner and an undercarriage liner with more to spare.

Hello my friend. Please can you tell how many clips and what kind of clips do I need to install the line fender
@nukem3844 жыл бұрын
There are markings right at the beginning of the video on how many clips and there's links in the description on what kind of clips to get. 1 box is more than enough to cover all the clips for this install.

Would you know if 10mm clips will fit. I ordered some from Amazon and I'm unsure the diameter sizes for the holes.
@nukem3843 жыл бұрын
Probably should've just ordered the assorted set in the description because I'm not 100% sure, I think it's actually the 6.8mm or 8mm clips that will work. I believe the 10mm clips are too big for this liner.

Does anyone know the cover behind the spring? I just bought a used car and it didn’t have that cover. So whenever I look at the front spring, there’s an open space behind it and i can see all the way to the other side of my car (so for example, if there’s a car parked at the other side of my car, i can see the car if i look through that opening behind the spring)
@nukem3843 жыл бұрын
That's how the car was designed. There is no splash guard for that area. So yes, you can see all the way through to the other side. A bit weird, but it's normal.
@manufacturedbeats4 жыл бұрын
Did these work fine for you? I kept reading people saying they were thin.
@nukem3844 жыл бұрын
Yup. These come stock on the car from the factory. Ours got messed up due to a small accident, that's why we had to replace it. It wasn't due to it being old or thin.

@nukem3843 жыл бұрын
You're in luck because I actually have a tutorial for the under splash guard too (link below). Do the splash guard first because you need to undo pieces of the fender to get the splash guard out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJLUep-dn6yCaM0
